Re: Around the NFL: Training Camp edition

Yeah, thought Prescott definitely came back to Earth, but damn, Elliott looked good.

That being said, it kind of reminds me of the Warriors getting Durant. There's only one ball to go around. For as shitty as their defense was last year, they could have plugged almost ANY decent RB behind that line and get pretty good production.

Is Elliott going to get 500-600 more yards and many more TDs than a "decent" back? I can't imagine it. He'll definitely be better, but their offense was already pretty good.

I take that back: Zeke Unleashed: Ezekiel Elliott highlight reel from Cowboys vs Seahawks | Cowboys Wire

Nice cuts and all, but it just reminds me how dominant that line is. He was barely touched before some of those "highlight" reel runs.

Im not ready to put Dak in the HOF but I am also not going to call him out. It is only preseason which we all know means nothing. I haven't seen anything from Dak that screams "im not ready" though. He had another solid (preseason) outing.

Still don't believe he's ready to lead what everyone is proclaiming to be a "the best team in the NFC East, or maybe the entire NFC." Their offense isn't built to have a young quarterback or game manager in there. I'll take Dak over having to face Romo at this point, even if Romo is banged up.

As far as Dak's future, let's all hope that this preseason is a mirage.

Oh eff the fookin cowslobs. They aint winning shit but Dak is looking at least like their best backup option in a while for when Tony goes down like a ton of bricks.

I saw a few of his games in college and thought he would struggle with the pro game. And maybe he will when real games start. But he's been better than I thought and has been the best rookie qb so far.

Romo is done. At this point of his career his body won't hold up over 16 games. The coordinators are going to see a gazelle walking into a pack full of hyenas. He might as well get the golf clubs back out. He's had a very good career but he should call it quits.
