Re: Texans Postgame
Alex was the starter, I supported Alex. Colts the starter now, lets go Colt. Both Alex and Colt seemed to like Quinn in the slot. I think he could make a big impact. I imagine Colt and Reed have a very good chemistry as well. Those two thing alone may be that extra oomf to get the Skins more points.
The defense has 18 takeaways, 3rd in the nfl. I dont know if that includes todays turnovers but either way they are a strong defense and we have a strong shot at the playoffs. Hopefully Chicago wins tonight, if so the only bad result for us was the dallas win and we simply need to beat them Thursday. |

Plus, with the way Alex had been playing I don't think we'll see a huge drop off in production... And, don't know how long that effect can last, but the whole team and Jay seemed to be both electrified by the challenge AND excited to play with and call play for Colt McCoy. I really thought Gruden's play calling was gutsy and effective after Alex went down (minus the disastrous 2 plays in a row to lose the game). I think this loss can make us feel better about this team than some of our wins (WTF am I saying ? Losing sucks... but you see my point).

Re: Texans Postgame
Casserly listed like 9 backup qb options of guys on the street not one was a good option. Colt needs to stay healthy.

Re: Texans Postgame
Redskins are bringing in a group of QBs to work out on Monday, including EJ Manuel, TJ Yates and Mark Sanchez, per sources. Washington needs a new backup for starting QB Colt McCoy.

Anybody see that one clip where he was huffing and puffing before the play, and then went out and steamrolled through our o-line like they were sled dummies? Really highlighted the difference between him and everybody else for me.

Re: Texans Postgame
It doesn't matter who we bring in. If Colt gets hurt, the season is officially over. I'll take Manuel, solely because he went to FSU.
I will be staying sober on Thanksgiving.

Re: Texans Postgame
Yeah, I think we're all in scramble mode. Irrational and rational are blending in together. I'm not a fan of this QB class. Give me Daniel Jones from Duke.

Re: Texans Postgame
serious question, albeit probably not really likely. Are there any CFL qb's that could come in as a backup. I have no clue how competent they are, but going against TJYates, EJ Manuel, and the other cast of qb's there might be a better option up north.
