As far as repercussions, whether fair or not some people in different lines of work are held to different standards. The more popular you are whether it be an athlete, politician or movie star misbehavior will be more career damaging than for the average Joe. I do believe the NFL policy on smoking marijuana needs to go. I don't smoke, only tried it in college a couple times, it definitely is not as dangerous as alcohol. The fact someone like Josh Gordon is probably getting a lifetime ban for smoking pot is a joke. |

What grinds my gears is how fake and hypocritical the lynch mob is. The same people that want him unemployed immediately would be fine with him starting on the morning shift at McDonald's. The hypocrites would be offended again, if after he was fired he didn't try to support himself and applied for govt assistance. Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk

Re: Montae Nicholson Arrested
I’m hoping it’s a wake up call for Montae...I don’t think he should be cut, but the nfl has gone out of its way to provide services to these guys. At some point he has to take responsibility for his action...be a man at least. Sounds like he owes a lot of folks an apology...I’m not hearing anything.
Also, I’m hoping the Leadership takes an active role with Montae.

Re: Montae Nicholson Arrested
Anecdote from my youth which conveniently applies to this situation.
I worked with two interesting people in a natural resource industry out of high school. 1st guy had robbed a dairy queen and was a generally bad person but was a brute laborer who worked really hard when he was on the clock. 2nd guy was a drunk who would work several months to get enough money to drink on for a while and stop showing up. He was not dependable but was more skilled than anyone at running the main machine which mined the resource, he made the company tons of money when there so they kept bringing him back. Both of these a holes weren't role models but nobody would say they shouldn't work and support themselves. If an employer wants to hire or fire someone then fine. But this is a lynch mob full of virtue signalling, pearl clutching, hypocrites. Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk
