Re: Wild Card Weekend 2019

The most impressive team by far was Indy Colts. Frank Reich and his D Cor simply outcoached the Texans by leaps and bounds.

You can talk about Andrew Luck, but that shows you don't know much about football. Indy won because of Marlon Mack and that Oline.....Nelson and Kelly are monsters inside BUT the way their TEs block on the edge are amazing.

Long way to go as a passer but I don't think they planned on playing him this year when they drafted him. Still, he went 6-1 and got them to the playoffs.

Spot on.

Indy won in the trenches.

That type of TE is what we haven't had and is what Gruden's scheme calls for.

Re: Wild Card Weekend 2019

Indy won in the trenches but you still need a QB, they proved that a RB like Mack can be effective with a great OL but Luck was making throw after throw, the threat of him and his WR's (Ebron too) is what opens those run lanes. If Indy had Dak or Lamar they wouldn't be this good

We have 2 soft ass cowards as TEs. Cant block, drop big throws...and the cap we spend on them is retarded.

Gruden pick of personnel is fucking terrible, the Ryan Grants, Vernon Davis, Robert Kelly, Colt McCoy and stood on the table for a Trey Quinn who comes in and is injured all season.

We need Gruden to be less involved on the roster moves. He doesn't pick good talent.

Colts are the hot team right now, agreed. But if you look at the Texans regular season, they never really beat anyone with a winning record. Colts were sub-500 in the first meeting. Cowboys were sub-500 when they lost to Houston. Not at all surprised at the beat down they got at the hand of the Colts this weekend. They are not built for if.

IMHO, the most complete and hottest team is the Chargers. Does not matter where or who they play, they find a way to win. They went on the road and beat KC in Arrowhead. No easy feat. Went on the road to Seattle and won. No easy feat. And I would not be surprised at all if they go into Foxboro this weekend and beat the Pats.

I think the Chargers are going to the SB if they get past NE. Which Rivers is 0-7 vs Brady so not gonna be easy.

Chargers will be the Pats toughest test this postseason. I like Indy but don't see them or the Chiefs going past NE.

They also have the 1 pm Sunday slot that is tough for a west coast team.

I think we can put that notion to rest, IIRC the announcers yesterday were saying the Chargers have been balling on the road this year. Something like 5-0 lately, doesn't matter East Coast, 1 pm start, on the road in Seattle or Arrowhead. I'll be rooting for them against the Pats but I know better than to bet against the Pats in the playoffs.

I'd be a little surprised but not shocked. The Colts have enough D to keep KC in check and KC's defense sucks so anything could happen.

Le'veon Bell landing spot becomes clearer.

They have a good front 7, the secondary sucks. Yes even Kendall Fuller has been a disappointment.
