That's real nice to hear, especially against that D.

Let's hope he holds up against the Bears...I'm very concerned about Moses vs. Mack though. He's going to need some help over there.

I dont get the hate on Keenum. He opened up a 17point lead again philly, and held his own in dallas. Do the 2 misses frustrate me yes, but in any other instance a starting qb with a rookie that didnt play most preseason the fans give the timing aspect more leeway.

It’s because some still hang on to the belief we are one player away from being good!! No I’m sad to say we are Not one or two or three players away.. we are at least a Real GM who hires a head coach who hires a D cordinator away ..

I would start Haskins against the Dolphins and let him take over from there.

Giants play Tampa then the Skins so they are starting Jones against the easiest part of their schedule.

Case isn't the problem. He's played well enough to win both games if the D had only done their job.

I'd give him well enough to win the first game second game was pretty whatever until the final drive. I just don't see the point of him starting. I didn't see it from day 1 but I am not a head coach.

Shameless self-promotion. It is what it is.

The main reasons for me, with regard to starting Case, would have been the question marks on the L side of the O line, and his experience in the NFL. Even though the line seems to be doing decent to this point, his experience still wins out, and he just simply gives you a better chance of succeeding.

Re: PREDICT GAME 3 AGAINST “Da Bears”

Reasons Haskins needs to start against the Dolphins:

1. He is the future and he needs the experience.
2. He’s not learning anything from a mediocre 71.8 QB rating QB.
3. He only played one season in college and he needs to be in there.
4. He will learn five times as much being in there as sitting in the sidelines.
5. We need to evaluate in Haskins is the future. If we waste a year letting Keenum win five games we know nothing about his skill.
6. He probably won’t be as good as Case in his first games, but he may be by the end of the season.
7. If the Giants can do it and the Eagles did it with Wentz, exactly why are we waiting?

Re: PREDICT GAME 3 AGAINST “Da Bears”

I agree with whoever said keep Haskins on the bench since the head coach is going to change, and so will the offense. No need to rush him out there, get eaten alive, and then possibly injured. Let him sit and learn behind some vets.

Case has done his job. I can't fault him for that. He's been solid IMO. You keep starting him until he can't do the job. If we fall to the Bears, we all know the season is a wash at that point. Just keep going the status quo until we can fire Manusky, Gruden, and Allen.

Re: PREDICT GAME 3 AGAINST “Da Bears”

im going bears 31- skins 17
i think the bears have a "get right game" Against us (seems to be the trend)
Manusky continues to leave the pages on his playbook filed under "blitz" At home
Case looks decent, but gets sacked a ton and hurt.
Haskins comes in to score a td in garbage time.

Re: PREDICT GAME 3 AGAINST “Da Bears”

Playing Haskins get him valuable experience against NFL defenses and game speed.
Let him see first hand what Dallas, NY, and Philly are going this year so he can better prepare for next year.

If you're worried about injuries, go watch bowling.

This. Although I wld wait for a little bit to give Haskins a chance to grasp the offense before he starts. Keim wrote in one of his articles that Haskins is still learning.. If I am the coach, my target probably wld be at around week 8.

Re: PREDICT GAME 3 AGAINST “Da Bears”

Not playing Haskins is like buying a Lamborghini and then putting it in your living room to look at but never use. Does anyone think that with the normal player turnover with a HC changeover that somehow miraculously the OL issues are just going to disappear? That he won’t ever face a pass rush?

Drive that car and let it roar!
