K.C Pregame Thread

KC 52
WFT 27

The Falcons hung 30 on us. The only way KC doesn’t get a 50 burger is if they just don’t feel like it.

Man do I hope I’m wrong.

Re: K.C Pregame Thread

Sorry but I'm a bit amused by this "KC gets it right against us" narrative... Cause I don't think they really got it wrong.
They beat a really good team in the Browns, and annihilated the Eagles.
3 losses to 3 excellent teams. One by a point another by 6.

I watched their loss to the Bills, it was bad. But don't think Mahomes somehow doesn't have it anymore: he had one killer pick 6 of a bad drop by Hill, another tough pick on an incredible play by a DE in the redzone. Then a bad looking fumbled snap that he couldn't recover. Take away those 3 plays and it's a whole different ball game.
Yes he was surprisingly inaccurate at times, but he still made some Mahomeslile plays.

Point is, we're about to get hammered, blasted, destroyed, stomped, dismantled so badly Pornhub wouldn't even allow this game on their site...

Thankfully we have the name change and the dirty leaked emails to talk about !

Of course this game is fucking televised here on cbs.

We are going to get absolutely annihilated. This is a game that our offense has to excel, and whereas everyone is thinking TH will hold us back, it will be Scott Turner. He will immediately get into an air war with one Patrick Mahommes. The sane thing to do would be feed Gibson the ball, and keep the ball away from Mahommes but he won’t.

21-0 after the first. It is over early.
I don’t think I have to attach teams to the scores. We all know.

The only saving grace is Mahommes is my fantasy quarterback and even we could beat my fantasy team.

Couldn't find an actual video or a live show, but I'm going with Ziggy Marley's Keep on Dreamin'.

Mine too...

But if we lose I'm disinclined to point to Turner being the likely cause. If it goes like Buffalo (though admittedly and much better D than KC) we could be 3 scores down by the 2nd quarter and have no choice but to to try to catch up. Else you're running the ball to mitigate damage in a lost cause; tantamount to resigning your coaching position.

Only way we win this is if the D finally find their backside without needing both hands and work out how to play effectively. But with Mahomes mobility and Hill's speed, I'm not at all confident. I say we get a late score but still lose by 2 TD's.

The only way we win this game is if the Chiefs miss their flight.

Yeah I dont see the D picking this week for their arrival party.
We have seen Turner go away from the run this year more than once while the game is still close. Im not saying down three scores that we should continue to run, but at least until it gets to that point.
I just feel like Turner is always wanting a shoot out because it is what makes video games fun. Idk. I do believe in miracles, but a win Sunday is a really big freakin miracle.
