5-3 are kool-aid parties, 4-4 we are happily settling. That's a pretty reasonable scale. Good teamwork FS!

It's sad that 5-3 is our idea of an amazing start, and it's basically a pipe-dream.

Re: Around the NFL week 8

Rodgers is the MVP so far for me, that just shows that he can literally win with anyone at WR. As of right now, I got GB / TB in the title game again.

Also yes it would be amazing to have a team 7-1 but we have never had a QB for that to happen

I get your meaning but I wouldn't describe Randall Cobb as just anyone. He's a solid #2 on pretty much any team and in just over 10 years has averaged near 700y a season.

He is but he's also past his prime years. When you look at #3 WR's around the league Cobb isn't considered to be one of the best guys. They also lost their TE , Kudos to Lefleur too, he called a great game

Re: Around the NFL week 8

Actually that's one spot that surprises me with GB. Tonyan is OK but he can disappear for whole games. Given they've had one of the best QB's in recent memory, they haven't had a really good TE since arguably Finlay or maybe as far back as Franks. The best QB's usually have a very good TE or 2 in their best spells but Rodgers seems to have gotten by without one for a long time. Then again, despite winning the division multiple times, he's only taken them to the SB once. Surprising TE doesn't seem to have been a priority for them.

Lefleur did well but had some head scratchers too. Why wasn’t Dillon in when they were pushing ball up the middle at goal line? That is his bread and butter not Jones

Rodgers for the most part has always had just one good WR, except maybe when he had Nelson and a younger Cobb. Right now he has one of the best in D. Adams, but not much else behind him.

Part of his beef with the team is that they have not invested in offensive weapons for him or have missed in some of these draft picks.

And they haven't won a SB with Rodgers since he had those weapons. A QB can't do it all by themselves.

The new Halloween Baker Mayfield commercial is gold, just gold.

He's Peyton Manning level funny.

Exactly, GB refuses to invest on their offense, and people wonder why Rodgers is unhappy.

Speaking of terrible front offices, the Texans are stuck with Watson, surprise, surprise.

Re: Around the NFL week 8

if we are talking mvp, stafford has to be in the conversation this year. It would have been unfair if we would have landed him, and wasted his last few years. He is excelling with the rams. Really showing how good he is, and how bad detroit is as a franchise.

If we had landed Stafford, Terry would be the leading WR in the league and we'd have a better record, even with our crappy defense.

This all day.

We would be a playoff team IMO. The dynamics of a team when operating with a top 10 qb completely change. Case in point the Dallas Cowboys. Of course you have to have talent built around him…ie Stafford on the Rams vs Stafford on the Lions
