I would have liked to have seen a closer look at the Metcalf catch on 3rd and 6. I’m not entirely sure he got his left foot down. Not that it matters, but I’m surprised it didn’t at least garner a booth review.

Couldn’t agree more:

Logan Thomas concludes his presser by saying he has one more thing to say: "Kam Curl is a top-5 safety in this league..."

Curl is an absolute boss. Someone is paying that man a lot of money. Hopefully we can keep him.

Cut Collins next year, pay Curl.

We might want to look into restructuring Collins. He is actually playing well for us since his position "shift". He is making plays right now.

I would keep Collins if he can keep playing like he did tonight in his new role.

He’s not a deep safety but he is a decent playmaker down at the LOS. Almost like a better(?) Jamal Addams…

Curl and McCain deep is our best combo there, IMO.

I just need someone to slap Antonio Gibson, why does he keep running out of bounds when we are trying to kill the clock?

Shameless self-promotion. It is what it is.

A bad win? I can't agree with that. Any win in this league is a good win, especially when you are 4-6. They battled for 60 minutes, and dominated everything but the scoreboard. No, it shouldn't have been that close, but it was and they found a way to hold on. Nice win in my opinion, and the kind of win that only helps the team grow and believe a little more. Remember Seattle was playing for their playoff lives too.

Sounds like McKissic is ok which is good to hear. Hopefully Schweitzer and Collins are good too.

Gotta keep it going now and get a big road win in Vegas.

There aren't bad wins in the NFL. And especially for teams like us that are absolutely clawing for a playoff birth. Too close for comfort tonight? Definitely. Bad? Definitely not.

Agree. This is pro football and all wins are good, unlike college where you have to win with style.

Re: A bad win is better than a good loss WFT vs Seattle post-game thread

We HAVE to consider our ST coach position, if not now, in the off-season. We could be on our 4th kicker now. We let an obvious overload on our left break through the middle way too easy (always coached you block inside out on FG team). Our hands team should have cleaned that up on the first attempt, let alone nearly lose it on the 2nd. This is all down to coaching.

And sort out the secondary communication. On an early game play or 2, maybe a blown coverage is tolerable, but when you KNOW they're passing and need a TD and a 2 pointer, you have to play smarter to win.

Scott Turner called a good game overall, but his short yardage calls were too much of an open book. He has to be more creative than that, and it doesn't take risky plays to do that. What about Samuel, McK and AG in the backfield together? 3 TE set? Wildcat? They ran Samuel twice for positive yardage, but didn't consider him on 3rd and 1 or use him as a diversion.

Hats off to TH, though that pick was too risky a throw, effectively double coverage. AG (I love how he finished that one run bouncing the DB off him (Reed?), front 7 stuffing the run. OL banged up but still playing power football. Playing December football.

Sheehan just said on his show that Tress Way was 11 for 11 in extra points in college. So why not attempt the chip shot at the end, which was basically an extra point. I wonder if it had more to do with Way being a lefty and the holder not being comfortable holding the ball from that side due to lack of practice?? Idk.

Going to a lefty kicker with little practice seemed like a recipe for disaster. Especially with the blocked kick return fresh in everyone's mind.
