Man the NFL fucked up putting two teams in LA. Shoulda been the Raiders.
LA will always be about the Lakers and Dodgers before football. USC's attendance for football has been terrible for awhile. Lincoln Riley will help. But they have a ways to go. Last night truly was unbelievable though.

Game 1 of the regular season can produce some weird results that are not always indicative of how the season will go for either team. In this case, I think Buffalo is that good, and I don't know what the Rams are yet.

The Bills are a fan favorite because they built it the right way, also they are a blue collar team and city. GRIT , with a mega star QB

Dontcha just miss those days?

I gotta say high flying offense is nice, but I really miss seeing Washington have a suffocating defense. It's sexier to me watching defense not give up anything because we haven't seen DC have a top scoring offense since the 80's.

Josh Allen is one of the best players in the league. Worth every penny the Bills paid him.

Re: Around the NFL…Week 1 Style

7. Josh Allen, QB Wyoming — Buffalo Bills (via TB)
GRADE: F

Analysis: The Bills gave up two second-round picks for the right draft a quarterback who is nothing more than a strong arm. Allen is inaccurate, struggles to read defenses and is uncomfortable from the pocket. Other than that, he’s a pretty good quarterback.

This pick isn’t all that surprising. After all, this is the same team that thought Nathan Peterman gave it a better chance to win than Tyrod Taylor.

10. Josh Rosen, QB UCLA — Arizona Cardinals (via OAK)
GRADE: A+

Analysis: The best quarterback in the draft had to wait 10 picks to hear his name called. Rosen gives the Cardinals a polished pocket passer who reads defense in an instant and throws the ball accurately. And now he’s motivated to make the nine team that passed on him regret that mistake.

Josh Rosen on being drafted 10th: “There were nine mistakes ahead of me.”

If he really is a farmer, he must be starving. Just a bit off.

I think that tweet was just a guy reporting what Rosen said.

The guy giving grades/writing the article is Steven Ruiz, works for yardbarker now.

Hes 2022 Qb rankings have Josh Allen at 5, Josh Rosen at 25 .. and Wentz at 27.

https://qbrankings.theringer.com/

Steven Ruiz is on my "do the opposite of what he says" list.

I was not familiar with him before this post, and I don't want to be. He is on my list too lol.

This really is why you can't put any stock into post-draft media reviews.

Re: Around the NFL…Week 1 Style

I couldn't care less what the "Talking Heads" or fans of other teams or the general public think about my team. The time for talk is over. The season is here and it's put up or shut up time for every NFL team. Let the wins tell the tale.

Also, there are some people who will never give our team any credit it is due, no matter what. This was proven to me during the George Allen and Gibbs I years when we were one of the very top teams in the NFL and still didn't get any respect from the groups mentioned above. So I say to hell with all of them and let's find out the truth on the field of play.
