If we can stop the run -- and Swift looked, well swift against the Eagles -- we should be OK. But they are going to come in fired up after feeling robbed last week, and it will be smashmouth football all day. Stop the run, win the game. Goff and their receivers aren't scary.

Wow -- that's a lot of folks responsible for their running game all out at once. Cannot count on this of course as it's only Wednesday, and I cannot bring myself to root for guys to be hurt and out of the lineup in any event.

Yeah Quads is very rare to run in the NFL. Turner looks like an actual OC with the guys we have

Gibson is a bad ass WR out of the backfield. He looked like a legit NFL receiver catching that deep corner down the sideline.

I didn't understand why every got so down on the guy after a fumble in a pre season game. He is everything you want in a back in today's NFL.

It's still scary as hell when he goes between the tackles. But I'm all for getting him the ball in space as much as possible. But the fumbling will be a concern until he proves it isn't.

I don't know that anyone was down on him due to the preseason fumble - only. The dude led all RBs with fumbles last year. He got six carries in the preseason, and one of those ended up being a turnover. It's definitely a problem.

He's a fantastic athlete though, seems to be a great receiver, and can contribute in many ways. He just doesn't need to be running between the tackles too often. I hold my breath every time he gets the hand off. Can't wait until B Rob is back.

Because everyone was hoping his fumble issues were behind him…until he touched the ball again?

Jamin Davis was put in coverage 6 times

He gave up 4 Rec for 62 yards and 2 first downs..

He is a liability in coverage

Any of those that included covering Kirk one one one, I'm disregarding. That's putting him in a position to fail.

This is a great point! Does this really make sense to put a LB on their fastest WR?? Especially multiple times! How often was Urlacher lined up to cover Desean Jackson?? It's just dumb.

Why not play 7 DB's? We've got some DB's who can play the run and they're bound to cover receivers better than our LB's. Some of our DB's are hard hitters, too. We might even get some turnovers if we play them.

Fuller, Jackson, St-Juste, Curl, Forrest, Reaves, and Butler.
