He played at Stanford. Returning to the Bay Area could have played a part in it (if he actually had a say).

Not only but there is a relationship between the Shanahan’s and McCaffrey’s from his dad was coached by Mike S.

Had no idea about this, I can see now why he chose the 49ers.

SF went to the SB a few years ago. They can get hot. People hate on Jimmy for some reason but hes a winner

Because he is that guy who has always been on a good team which makes the most if his mediocre talent. He is extremely fortunate. If he were on a lot of other teams he would not have the W’s.

If SF had a legit top 10 quarterback they would be absolutely unstoppable.

True although I think you have to look at the trade bearing in mind what they already have - Deebo Samuel + CMC will be brutally hard to defend. It’s a synergistic addition and thus the trade should be viewed as adding not just CMC but this overall capability.

I really want to like Dan Campbell but the days of rahrah run thru walls bullshit is over. The game is too complicated for meatheads.

Did lose three close games to Philly, Seattle, and Minny. Wheels came off last two weeks. I think they were gutted after those early heartbreakers. Poor Lions man. That is one team I can be happy im not a fan of instead of us. Long ass history of losing. Just terrible.

Them and the browns just can never seem to get anything right. At least we win the division here and there

Dak is a glorified game manager. He should be buying his defense dinner. Their D is legit.

Commanders could be tied with a 3-4 record with GB, TB, SF by the end of the day.
