He is. But am I the only one with this weird feeling in a 41-17 game to be more impressed by the 49ers defense than their offense?

I mean he had 3 unique TDs but yes, their D is nasty.

To me the D took the game over. IIRC It was 23-17, Strip sack, 31-17, punt, big play by Samuel, 38 -17, and then the INT to pretty much seal it. That Dline delivers.

The chargers' DL off to a great start too.

100% agreed.

On your second point, my ‘Noles Asante and Derwin have had a ton to say about this game.

Staley needs Carr as his QB, cause they are both chokers. Feel bad for Herbert he doesn’t deserve this shit.

Re: Wild Card Weekend

Seen this in a couple of games- lack of situational awareness by defenses in not just allowing the offense the score in the last 2 minutes of a game. In the SD/Jags game once Etienne broke through on that 4th down play the defenders should have let him score the TD. Tackling him basically ended any chance the Chargers had.

Re: Wild Card Weekend

Chargers are the worst team in the NFL to root for.

They are good at 2 things:

Choking hard; and
Choking even harder

This goes beyond Staley. They have been choking on bags of cocks for the last 20+ years.

I just feel for Herbert. He has to be tired of this bullshit.
