Irvin does a good job, though he still can't master possesive nouns & proper tenses in the english language. He's also pro player's rights, seems to take the side of TO & other fools too often.
Mort & Clayton are definitely top notch journalists.
Salsburysteak? well, he's ESPN's Cosell - people love to hate him, including some of us it appears

And what's going into his nose is a derivative of the coca plant.

Dr. Z claims to have been around football since the beginning of the football era. I don't think I've ever seen him pick anything right. It's not an SI curse, he's just a bad analyst.

When you talk about Redskin bashers lets not forget Peter King........with his campaigns to keep Art Monk out of the hall of fame...............

Re: Mort gives us props

Back when Peter King wrote that poorly thought-out piece of trash that he passed off as an article earlier this offseason I said that Mort and Clayton were the only two guys I ever actually listen to or respect. Glad to see Mort hasn't changed my mind. :thumb:

I really don't care who gives us props...I just want to see two people continue to dog us out...Sally Jenkins and Sean Salisburysteak.
Nothing would be more redeeming to see them dance around the truth for another full year while we plow our way through the playoffs.

Re: Mort gives us props

Why doesn everyone need the Redskins to be respected by the media? Sure, I like Mort, Jaws, TJ and Clayton and usually value thier opinions, but really, what does it get us? I mean, who really cares if Pasquarelli or King love to bash the Skins? Doesn't mean a gumdang thing. Salisbury? Please.

Yeah, that put him at rock bottom in my book. Don't make all these bitch promises and then go back on them.

That's all I'm saying...when someone starts make these personal declarations, then they indeed make it personal.

Re: Mort gives us props

I wonder when someone is going to call him on it. Did anyone actually do that last year over the air?

Re: Mort gives us props

Had quite a flow to his speech, which was annoying & entertaining at the same time. I think broadcasters like him, Salisbury & Joe T. have that affect, people will say they hate them yet continually pay attention to what they say because they’re not afraid of stirring controversy. In Salisbury’s case, he tries a bit too hard sometimes & I’ll agree w/12th Man, he talked a bit too much smack & then didn’t want to just concede that he was way wrong. He seems to share pastabelly’s personal animosity toward the skins.
That’s cool w/me though, he’ll have to go on espn & suck it up eventually. Once we continue to win big, even the most ardent critics have to give some props.

Really, this will make this one very interesting season for the Skins....some say it's just another team with Snyder's high profile signings other's are saying this may be the year. I think there are several things that are different about this team.
