Re: Lloyd or Randle El?

I Think El will be the special teams returner and appear for half the time with Patten. Lloyd will be #2 We have missed an impactful player since the great BMitchell. This on paper comes at the best time with new additions, Delicate QB health and deliverance, the defense has compromised in the secondary and Empty LA's old side is available.

Re: Lloyd or Randle El?

I just think that the Skins are in a no-lose situation either way. I am pretty sure that, whoever our No. 3 WR is, he could start for any other team in the league.

Last year we had a No. 1 WR in Moss and a bunch of No. 3's and 4's (and 7's and 8's - but I digress).

While Cooley was great, I don't think teams felt they had to cover him deep - his speed isn't going to scare anybody. So, even though he was a receiving threat, he probably didn't pull much coverage away from Moss (the guys covering Cooley weren't going to be the deep help on Moss).

With either El or LLoyd out there, teams will simply not be able to triple up on Santanna, and, if they double him, either LLoyd or El should be able to make them pay.

So many weapons. So few balls.

The season starts when?

Honestly, with all these weapons SOMEONE is going to have another huge year. Whether it be Cooley or Lloyd, one of those two is going to put up huge numbers.

Re: Lloyd or Randle El?

I like Lloyd better as a WR...but I like El better overall because of the added dimension he brings on Special teams and gadget plays. But I guess since the question was just about the Redskins passing game then i have to go with Lloyd.

Re: Lloyd or Randle El?

Moss, Lloyd, Patten, Randle El, Jacobs.
We will all benefit from this lineup.
Then add Cooley, Fauria, Portis and Sellars as possible targets we're truly undefensable!
Man I can't wait.

Not picking either cause it's a team thing and we're gonna win the Superbowl!

After Moss, there is no #2, or #3. Each has his own gifts and abilities, and their efforts and skill will be used to the maximum extent possible.

I havent really thought about it that way, but i guess thats true. Moss is our go to guy, and everyone else will be used to the best of their ability to get the ball down the field.
