Re: KEYS TO PULLING OFF A WIN in DALLAS

Whoever wins the turnover game, will win the game.
Both defenses are stingy on the run. Washington has more pure power in thier front 7, but Dallas has more speed in thier front 7.

The trenches is where the catalyst will be that causes turnovers. Whoever capitalizes, wins.

This is Dallas and Washington, and it does not matter what the records are when these two teams face off. It is a perfect example of "Any Given Sunday".

I believe whoever wants this game most will win it. If we're in disarray they are in no better situation at this point. We sucked in week one and guess what so did Dallas. One of these team will show they are alot better than they played last week and one wont...lets hope it's Gibbs guys who show up.

Bledsoe is a statue standing in quicksand...Brunnell is alot more mobile than he is as is Johnson...hammer Bledsoe...blitz him...dont give him enough time to look around for much of anything and we win this game. Let him stand back there and we're toast. Their O-Line isn't very good either....not anything near Minnesota's O-line IMO. If you pressure Bledsoe you can beat Dallas...if you dont he can beat you. It's kind of simple even if our secondary is banged up.

Brad Johnson and Mobile in the same sentence.

WOW.

Johnson is not mobile.

He has a World Class O line is what the deal is there.

Johnson isn't mobile, but I'd put my money on him in a race against Bledsoe.

And which one of us is young enough to see that race finish?

Who has that kind of time, really?

The key to the game: Throw at anthony henry deep! Do it often. He might be the worst corner in the league at playing the ball in the air.

He does have a tendancy to look terrible for a game.

Last year your new WR Lloyd lit him up in SF, but he was solid before and after that.

Regardless, he's the weak link in the chain. If I'm going to pick a DB to throw at on the Cowboys, it's him.

Re: KEYS TO PULLING OFF A WIN in DALLAS

One key is: replace Portis!

ASHBURN, Va. (AP) - Washington Redskins coach Joe Gibbs has ruled running back Clinton Portis out for Sunday's game against the Dallas Cowboys.
Gibbs says Portis didn't practice today and -- quote -- "If a guy doesn't practice, he's not going to play."
Gibbs says Ladell Betts, T.J. Duckett and Rock Cartwright will be the running backs against the Cowboys.
Portis has been downgraded from questionable to doubtful on the injury report, with Gibbs citing soreness from the pounding Portis took from playing in the season opener against Minnesota on Monday night.
But the announcement by Gibbs took Portis by surprise, saying that he thought it was a game-time decision and that his "bag's packed and ready to go to Dallas."
Last week, Portis spent several days downplaying his chances to make the season opener, but rushed for 39 yards and a touchdown against the Vikings.
