With the Redskins luck, Brunell will catch on with another team next year and somehow will play against us and have a carrer day.

Re: Can we shop Brunell?

wheres that other thread about moving taylor to LB, mabye we should just move brunell to safety. hes gotta be good at reading QBs, that or he can play QB spy and guard against the dumpoff pass

If we can't get rid of Brunell and if ( I don't really know for sure though) it wouldn't cost us as much to keep him as opposed to dumping him, why not keep him as a back up?

It's not likely anyone would trade for Brunell. We have told the whole world (as if they can't see for themselves) that he's done, so why would anyone consider trading for him?

Now, when we consider how JG feels about him, I could see him restructering his contract to slightly more than the vet minimumn and returning to the team as a backup. I don't know that he would accept that, or how well Jason Campbell would take to Brunell being there to oversee his development.

I, for one, would strongly support trading Brunell to Green Bay for AJ Hawk. Both teams win. We solidify our LB core, they get their Favre replacement. Hopefully Vinny can get the ball rolling on this one soon.

Why stop at Hawk? We could get Charles Woodson too.

Snyder could buy one of those motorized wheel chair Companies... Brunell would be the perfect spokesman.... Scooter, Electric wheelchairs, power chairs, mobility scooters and electric scooters from the Scooter Store

Re: Can we shop Brunell?

I guarantee Brunell has value to team that has some blocking, and needs some stability at the QB position. Vinnie is 43................and working................in the NFL.............as a QB

Wher did you get that from its the first I've ever heard that he was considering retirement before this year. I'm not sure of his cap numbers but if we could work out a new deal that was cap friendly I'd like to see him stay as our 2nd guy. That would give us a good mentor for JC and MB would be fresh if needed to play. I think he is not totaly done but he does not have enough to play as a starter. The only problem is if we lost JC early in the year.

Remember that super lame rumor that was going around that Brunell was thinking of retiring?

I think it started when Portis was on NFL Total Access and he jokingly said that Brunell was going to retire due to his broken finger that he got while hunting. People took that joke of a comment and freaking ran with it.
