Alan Branch fits the bill in my opinion. Teaming him with Griffin would be darn good against the run.

What i think will happen come draft day:
we will be sitting pretty high and most likely we will have a chance at Dewayne Jarrett and Calvin Johnson, New England needs a good reciever and im sure would be willing to part with there two first round picks for our top 5 most likely, we could then use there two picks on Laron Landry and Buster Davis, a stud at safety and a stud at LB, would solve two problems

if the draft is that deep we're gonna have a hard time trading down. i'd be pretty surprised if the patriots made that kind of a deal. my guess is we keep the pick. i'll have one DT/DE, please-- and hold the wilkinson.

Re: Movin' On Up (The Draft Board)

Right now the skins are slated to pick 7.

2007 NFL Draft - 2007 NFL Mock Draft from Ourlads Scouting Services

There are probably 4 d-lineman among the top 10 overall prospects:

Frank Okam DT Texas
Baraka "I'm not Obama" Atkins DT Miami (FL)
Alan Branch DT Michigan
Gaines Adams DE Clemson

The 3 dts are all very similar, but imo Branch in the run stuffing beast among them.

Gaines Adams stock will shoot up between now and the next 130+ days until draft day. He's the sack man of the group and is very athletic, but he's only 260, so he'll have to be very special to play de in a 4-3.

The Dbs in the draft are not as solid at the top compared to the d-lineman. A few names close to top 10:

Daymeion Hughes CB Cal
LaRon Landry S LSU (imo may not be a good fit w/Taylor)
Leon Hall CB Michigan

*Look for Alan Branch and Leon Hall of Michigan during Rose bowl

Should be 6th pick in the draft.

I'll never root against the skins for draft reasons but i can sure root for the other pathetic teams to win.

That would be great. However, New England is doing fine with what they have (10-4). I could never see them trading away two first rounders to get a big name, when they have shown they can produce without. It's just not their style.

I don't know why you guys are talking about the draft because Snyder, Coaches, and front office suck and will make a bad deal. Remember everyone affiiated with this team and even the stadium suck.

I can't stand deion but in his day he was a shut down corner. Maybe the best of all time. He was past his prime when he came to the skins (go figure).
