Re: Super Bowl food: post your recipes
Pigs in a blanket with heinze honey mustard as a dip. Has anyone ever slow cook wings on a grill with hickory chips? Its the only way to cook them. I hit them hard on higher heat for about 15 min. then cut down to low add allot of hickory chips and cook for another 30 to 40 min. and I promise you they will be the best wings you have ever had. Texas Pete make a good hot wing sauce.

Yup, slow cooking wings is where it's at. You definitely have to get them hot early to lock all the flavor in, then slow cook them bitches until they fall apart.

Re: Super Bowl food: post your recipes
I did not get all the measurements for the dip but I did ask my wife and she said I had the right mix of stuff. The only thing she said is she uses Kraft zesty Italian dressing and a medium onion and not a large onion. Its best if it has a few hours or over night to sit and soak up the dressing. I add enough to coat the dip and you do not want drench with the dressing. It is realy a type of sausa so you need to dice up the vegetables accordingly which is most of the work. If you have one those choppers they work good and you can use a food processor but I find that the processor can sometimes chop it to fine if you run it to long. I like it chopped in cubes about the size alittle bigger than pencil eraser. Give it a try I think you will like it.
