With out a doubt 11-5, win the division and lose a heartbreaker in the championship, now that is bold!

Re: Be Bold 4/15/07
My gut feeling (subject to change, depending on my mood) is that we will have a much more potent offense, though still plagued by mistakes and inexperience due to Campbell's development. I don't see the defense getting all that better especially with only one draft pick, and with the uncertainty that the front office will use it where they should -- at the D-line. So I'm thinking they'll be marginally better, say 7-9 or 8-8.
But for the purposes of this thread, 6-10 or worse. |

Re: Be Bold 4/15/07
This is so tough to predict because you are kept wondering who we are. Are we the team that reeled off five wins in a row to make the playoffs and build momentum, or are we the team who couldn't even beat the Vikings and Titans at HOME last year? Being the fact that we have the majority of the pieces from our 2005 campaign BACK from free agency plus Smoot, I'm going with 10-6 or above barring no major injuries.
If Campbell, Cooley, Fletcher or Springs get hurt, then my prediction goes down to below 6-10. They are VITAL cogs.

15 - 1
We'll lose at home to the 0 - 15 Cowboys for our only loss and their only win of the season. Naturally, we wouldn't play any of our starter's.

Re: Be Bold 4/15/07
Sorry, but I'm going to nitpick. I'm pretty sure that if something is annual, it's not created on a weekly or monthly basis, it's created once a year. If hooskins can have his "Be Bold" thread, I think my movie quote thread should be reinstated and removed from Thread Hell!!!!

Re: Be Bold 4/15/07
Hoo, were you drunk when you created this thread? It's basically telling us to forget being realistic unless we think the Skins are going to be either really bad or really good.
I'm not sure why saying we're going to be mediocre is frowned upon?

Re: Be Bold 4/15/07
I would personally prefer them go 1-15 then 8-8. I'm so sick of them being mediocre, either suck really bad and draft another Sean Taylor, or be good enough to make the playoffs. Everything in between just leads to frustration cause then they lose games they "should" win or vice versa.

Re: Be Bold 4/15/07
Id say above 10-6 but I always seem to overestimate. Every game we play I honestly think that the Skins will win. I dont pick them to win unrealisticly but I think they usually have a decent chance. After last year and the losses they incurred Im not to sure which team they will become this season. As I looked through the schedule I picked them to go exactly 11-5, but there are always teams out there like the entire AFC East that you just can't assume they will beat. Im so ready for some football!
