Re: G Joe Andruzzi
without a doubt we should check this guy out...Did anyone see the mock draft in CNNSI and the comments below it? Some clown posted that we had a terrible O Line...

Re: G Joe Andruzzi
Andruzzi is still good (not great) and the Brownies got Eric Steinbach. Andruzzi is better than anything we have and is a normal LG not someone trying to become one (Wade) or is unproven. I say bring him in let Wade be the backup at each spot.

Re: G Joe Andruzzi
I wish the Skins had had a 3rd round pick and picked up Samson Satele. He's gonna be a beast.

Re: G Joe Andruzzi
You mean better than anyone we have trying to take Dockery's place, right? I'd take Randy Thomas over Joe Andruzzi...

Re: G Joe Andruzzi
I'd take Todd Wade over anyone OLinemen released by the Cleveland Browns.

Re: G Joe Andruzzi
We don't need offensive guards. We need a legitimate DE or DT. That is it.

Re: G Joe Andruzzi
That'd be awful. Jenkins is an malcontent who's played 21 games in the last three seasons and is reportedly pushing close to 400 lbs.

Re: G Joe Andruzzi
He did play all 16 games last season and went to the pro-bowl. He was hurt in 04-05, but has played every game in his 4 injury free seasons. I didn't know he was a malcontent...

Re: G Joe Andruzzi
Jenkins has badmouthed this organization and is a big time injury concern. I want somebody who can actually contribute to the team next year.

If I felt good about our D-line I would never even suggest this guy, but is Jenkins any more of an injury concern than Griffin or Salave'a? They are both always hurt. And Jenkins has pro-bowls on his resume...

Re: G Joe Andruzzi
Bringing in Andruzzi would buy us some time on the O-Line for this year, and possibly next, if we could get him on a two year deal for just over the vet min. with a minimal SB. Sounds like he's a professional, he's been through the "wars" of getting to the playoffs, and beyond ... and did I mention he'd buy us a little time to develop a youngster?
Buges, you need to be marchin' into Coach's Office right away, and puttin' it to 'em like this ... "it ain't gonna' work goin' into the season with Wade at LG ... it ain't his natural position ... what were we thinkin' ... Geez" !!!! |

Re: G Joe Andruzzi
6'3", 315 lb -- bring him in! We haven't upgraded the D-line (and don't seem interested in doing so, according to Coach Gibbs); at least we can bolster the O-line. He can't expect a huge salary at his age and having been cut by the Browns and all.
