lol I haven't seen that. I used to ALWAYS see how Dallas has never lost to us in the last 5 years and stuff like that. Now that we have a little bit of a winning streak going, I have never seen anything that talks about it.

When did you become an expert on the Skins/cowboys rivalry demographic anyway? The fans in NC are extremely hard core on both sides and we get pretty fired up around here during dallas week.

Whether or not the intensity of our rivalry shows up on the field, I believe it's still alive and well in the hearts of the fans.

great line, and I'm with you. i don't think the rivalry is as fierce as it was in the 70's and 80"s, its still one of the best in sports. the one thing that could renew the hatred is if both teams were good again. the skins just haven't held up their end of that. but a win this week could start it all over again

Skins/Cowboys is never ever going to be the way it use to be in the 70's 80's and early 90's. I just don't hate them like I use to. Perhaps it's free agency.

If you can't get on board with Skins vs. Dallas, I really wonder what you can get on board with. Just look at some of the classic games we've had in the past few seasons. The Monday Night Miracle, the blocked FG, trouncing them 35-7 in '05, etc.

I was reading that the cowboys dont even look at the Skins as a real rival because they were beating our A$# for 6 years straight except the last 2yrs. Are we holding on because they have won more games in the last 9 years?

This is just typical cowboy arrogance, and yet another reason to hate them and their fans.

Last year, I was at Fedex when we beat the roids on the blocked kick. All game long, some roid-fans were saying shit like this, because they thought it was an easy win for them. When they lost, they sounded a bit different. You could tell it bothered them not just that they lost, but that they lost to the redskins. I don't buy this line of BS at all.

They think they're soooo good that we can't touch them. That's how they used to think before George Allen got things going. We need to smack them in the mouth a few times to remind them.

And Texanskin--having just moved to Texas (Houston--thank god not Dallas!), Cowpoke fans are worse up close and in large groups, as I'm sure you know all too well. Fortunately, at the bar I watch the skins at, the fans are for the Texans and HATE the cowroids. So we get along just fine!

Interesting thing about the way this game is being projected in the media - 3 years ago, before a skins-boys game, you'd see the stat "Dallas has won 14 of last 15 meetings" or something to that effect.

Now, you see "Skins have won 3 of last 4 meetings."
