Re: Dallas Trades 2 Players 4 Dolphins 4th Rounder
I still think Dallas wants to make a splash on draft day. They might of wanted this 1st pick in the 4th round as more ammo to move up.Or ammo for a big time wr like Chad Johnson or Roy Williams .I don't see them giving up 2 solid backups, just to draft 1 potentially solid backup.

Unless they are planning to trade that fourth rounder for Randy Moss, I don't see how this is a good deal for Dallas.

Re: Dallas Trades 2 Players 4 Dolphins 4th Rounder
Dallas traded one player that was probably not going to be on the roster in September (Ayodele), and traded a guy who has a better chance of being a starter in Miami because Jason Witten is solidly entrenched there.
Cowboys traded their 4th rounder (126 overall) to the Titans on the Pacman deal. Now they managed to get back into the 4th round and move up 27 spots and now have the 100th pick in the 4th round. Which happens to be the first pick of the 4th. And people can speculate all they want about "a high price for a 4th rounder." Well what matters is the pick, and Dallas moved back into the top 100 picks with this trade. And if we really want to get technical about it, since the Patriots for forfeited their first rounder due to "Spygate", this is really the 99th pick of the draft. And the 99th pick of the draft is technically a 3rd round pick. IT is the last pick of the 3rd. And, must add that history has shown that Dallas has done very well with 4th rounders. Marion Barber and Chris Canty are both former 4th round picks. |

That's great that they got lucky in the past with a couple 4th rounders, but the bottom line is the math still doesn't add up. Not a great trade for the 'Boys if Witten gets hurt or if that pick doesn't pan out. |

Re: Dallas Trades 2 Players 4 Dolphins 4th Rounder
Dallas, at least according to its fanbase, has had really good luck @ #4 so maybe JJ is a little superstitious. I would have held on to Fasano or not taken less than a 2nd rounder for him. They are either gearing up for a huge trade or are getting a little too cocky for thier own good.
