Re: Steelers punter out for the year
Exactly!
Even in Madden you can't trade a punter! C'mon people, we're better than that.. Be super smart!

I'm thinking Frost for Polamalu. They're desperate!

its possible we could trade frost for someone they'd probably cut anyways... avoid the waiver rush, get guys into the system early...

Re: Steelers punter out for the year
I don't understand why anyone would say to get rid of Frost before we even see what this other guy can do. While Frost is not the best punter he got the job done and seems to get a little better each year.

Re: Steelers punter out for the year
Anybody remember Ed Bunn? Our third round pick from 1993 (two picks ahead of John Lynch!!!) Bunn never made the team......and Kelly Goodburn was his competition!! Charley Casserly......Ed Bunn? Maybe Charley Casserly......My point is, success at the punter position, for some reason is difficult to predict. If Brooks shanks any punts during preseason, Frost is here to stay.

Re: Steelers punter out for the year
I say Frost for a number one and a conditional 3rd (over 35 yards per punt average) and we all go home.
