Yikes. That would be an awesome tandem at WR for the 'chips. How many times will Jerry Jones play with lit matches with his team?

Of course PFT speculates the Redskins as an option. No basis for it, they just throw it out there

Who ends up with Smith? Cowboys, Eagles, Vikes? Personally I'd be surprised to see him anywhere but Carolina. The Redskins can only hope for that scenario.

Surprise!

Player gets suspended, Dallas wants him.

Smith obviously has some issues with controlling his anger. Dude needs to get that taken care of. Good to see the Panthers acted swiftly.

Smith gets picked up by Cowboys. Pacman and Smith inevitably get in fight. Smith breaks Pacman's nose. Pacman plants a slug in Smith.

Net result: Pacman in jail, Smith out. Sounds like a win/win for the Skins.

Or am I being crass?

Smith has had a fued with him for a long time...they are constantly bickering. I'm not saying he was right in his actions, but to punish the team for it is kinda stupid IMO. They should have fined his ass as much as they could have, but to suspend him when they need to start off strong is not wise.
