If they can get Kelly 100% and up to speed, they can run that play almost at will with his body size

Re: 4th and 2 the Skins throw to seal the game

Was definitely the right call to go for it. Pass or run doesn't matter as the clock would stop on a change of possesion either way.

FG would have been the worst option as it puts them up by 8 and gives the Saints a chance to tie the game. A big return and the skins could be in trouble.

Punting wouldn't have been terrible, but it likely would have been a touchback. It would only be a 15 yard difference if they do not make the first down, so might as well go for it.

Although if a LB or CB jumped the route and took it back all the way the stadium might have been burned to the ground and I don't even want to think about what it would be like in this place!!!!

First play call from Zorn to show any sack. Word up.

Joe Gibbs would not have done that

Angry must be a fan of Colt Brennan or either Tony Romo.

That's funny, now go to the store and pick yourself up some original content.

I am superstitious and if the pessimism brings wins, then JC could screw up a kneel down.

I like the call. You can't give the ball back to NO and let the defesne try and win it. We saw that crap too much the last few years. Even if we don't make it I still like the call. Always play to win. It was one on one and that's what Santana is paid to do. Beat your guy one on one. But it sure took some balls.

Great call--it FELT soooo good to have confidence, make the gutsy call, and hit it for the WIN!

Confidence builder.

I don't know if anyone has said this yet (didn't feel like reading every post), but it was a low risk play. If we punted there wasn't much room there...and it was just out of Suisham's range, so that makes the decision pretty easy. Had he missed it, and (for instance) the Saints marched down the field and scored, we'd be ready to hang Zorn. But it was not a high risk move, and the defense set was perfect to run that slant. All in all, a great gutsy move.

Yeah, I was just about to mention this. Zorn definitely made the RIGHT call, but it was not a difficult decision in the slightest.

It was a gutsy play which showed how more pen the offense can be. Gibbs would never have done that. I love that we fianally took a chance to pass on 4th down.

I agree with you about Gibbs,he def would have punted.Gutsy call by Zorn, great job by team to execute it.I was driving and listening to updates on the radio and I heard the skins intercepted the ball with about 3 minutes left, and I thought to myself, great N.O. probably has all its timeouts,we"ll run 3 straight plays and then punt, and NO will have time to march down the field and score, seems like that has happenned over and over again to us,so glad it turned out different.I was all over Zorns ass last week, since I didnt see the game I'm going by what is posted, and it sounds like he had just as big of a turnaround as JC,way to go Zorn
