I guess Tank Johnson wasn't too happy about it.

Class is overrated.

People who cite class when they lose are basically saying their feelings are hurt because they lost.

They need to get over it and see a shrink if their hurt feelings don't go away.

Put the focus on the win and none of the other insignificant distractions like these. The only fingerpointing should be toward the scoreboard.

Thumbs up Re: Thoughts on Rock's Celebration

I have no problem with it. Dallas is an arrogant org with arrogant fans. They deserve it.

Re: Thoughts on Rock's Celebration

Maybe Rock just wanted his picture taken. It was a big moment. I have no respect for Tank Johnson or the cowgirls in general anyway. I damn sure don't have any respect for that star.

Re: Thoughts on Rock's Celebration

Maybe Rock was just telling Cowboy fans that we are the "real America's team". After all we are from the "Nations capital".

Re: Thoughts on Rock's Celebration

I think this should clear it up a bit:

Quote:
Postgame altercation

Redskins running back Rock Cartwright said he and Cowboys defensive tackle Tank Johnson had spent much of the evening jawing back and forth. But as the Redskins were kneeling on the ball at the end of the game, Cartwright said he stood at midfield and gazed through the iconic hole in the roof of Texas Stadium.

Johnson, who's is his second year with the Cowboys, apparently thought Cartwright was attempting to evoke memories of T.O. standing on the star several years ago as a 49er. After the final snap, Johnson raced over and shouted, "Don't disrespect the star."

I'm thinking Johnson may have more important things to deal with after his defense gave up 161 rushing yards. Some of you might recall Phillips saying recently that "no one runs on the Dallas Cowboys."

Well, make that almost no one.

No dancing, just standing and gazing up through the roof. If your name is "Tank", how intelligent do you imagine that is?

Don't put much stock into this, since it came from Tank Johnson.

Re: Thoughts on Rock's Celebration

yeah rock cartwright played high school football in tx. we played conroe (his school) once yearly. Im sure he grew up as a dallas fan. it was probably a pretty big moment... his last chance to be in tx stadium. and he was just taking it all in. understandable....

Re: Thoughts on Rock's Celebration

^^^hahaha nice!!

honestly i didnt see it so i cant tell if rock did it to show up the boys or was just kinda basking in the moment after a hard fought win (god bless gibbs).

i know that i was on LTs side in the playoff game where pats players after the game were mocking merrimans machine gun celebration thing he does. if what rock did was at the same level then id say he took it too far. losing is hard (you couldnt tell from the skins loss to the giants) and you do have to show some respect for your opponent and recognize while you may be very high they are feeling very low. . . . i dont know, go rock!!

pacman jones yells "thats bullshit" in a refs face caught for all to hear on nat'l tv; TO whines he didnt get the ball enough when he was targeted 18 times (boys cant win without TO damnit!) and tank has to be physically restrained after the game!!!!

go skins!!
