Re: Divisional playoffs thread
The whole year, we've heard how west coast teams cant win on the east coast, and that would be their undoing in the playoffs.
Well, pending todays outcomes, we could be looking at two championship games being held by 4th seeds on the Pacific time zone. I, for one, would like to see that. Make the East Coast teams travel West and earn their way to the Super Bowl. Of course, I'd rather just have the Eagles lose right here.

Re: Divisional playoffs thread
The very VERY LAST THING I want right now is stupid asshole McNabb going to the Super Bowl again. I hate him running his big mouth. Him and Desean "Laron's Bitch" Jackson.

Re: Divisional playoffs thread
I know a lot of people wrote off Arizona because they played awful in the second half of the year, but they have had the toughest route to the Championship Game as any of the four teams that will get there, so obviously they belong.

Atleast everyone can see that Eli isn't as good as everyone thinks he is.

Re: Divisional playoffs thread
WTF!!!!??? Eagles vs Cardinals in the NFC Championship game? One of these two teams is going to go to the SB? I reiterate, WTF!!!!???
Got to give props to Andy Reid, the Eagles have certainly proved they're better than the Skins today (when it matters at least).

We should have been able to handle the Giants in November.

Re: Divisional playoffs thread
Two sub 10 win teams in the championship game has to be a first.

Re: Divisional playoffs thread
For sure.
In fact, only once before in history has a conference championship game been hosted by a team that did not earn a first round bye, when 3rd seeded Indy hosted it in 2006. Right now, we're staring at a clean sweep of the bye teams, depending on the outcome of the afternoon game. That would honestly be incredible if it did happen.

Re: Divisional playoffs thread
He would have played sparingly had the Skins drafted him, and if the Eagles drafted Devin Thomas he would have just caught that 48 yard pass to seal the deal for the Eagles. You can't tell me Jackson is any smarter or more motivated than our rooks. The Skins are just dysfunctional.
BTW, I hate the Ravens and can't stand their Johnny Come Lately fans who presumably just got into football when the Browns came to town. But, I will begrudginly give Flacco some props. He made some BIG plays downfield to receivers who were covered like a blanket. How about that play to Clayton in double coverage. I didn't see Santana Moss make a single catch like that all year, although he is plenty capable. Campbell has to take the training wheels off and let those passes go! Same for the big pass to Heap down the middle of the field. Double covered, but he got the ball in there and kept the drive alive. I know he gets good pass protection, but he also moves around in the pocket to negate the pass rush (which makes the pass protection look even better than it is). He made a great pass to Mason after running towards the sideline. I'd like to see JC do more of that as well. The friggin Eagles. Man, what could have been. |
