Re: A New "Who would you draft?" Exercise

i agree with the Malcolm Jenkins pick , who i think is the best person available . In the first round u have to draft the best player there. Now if there is a couple players all rated about the same and one will fill a need then go in that direction. And if are secondary is strong ,but we don't have depth there. If Landry ,Hall , Horton or Rodgers goes down ,then theres a huge drop off in talent to are backups and becomes an immediate exposure. So do we need a DB as much as a OT or DL , no ,but a DB will help are team , especially if Carlos Rodgers leaves or gets traded.

^^ In this scenario, I would not oppose to the idea of drafting Jenkins, as well.. He would give Landry freedom to roam all over the field.. That would have been helluva defense, along with Haynesworth in the line..

Well with Edwards and Boldin or Ocho most likely coming to the NFC East...

Still, there are some pretty hot rumors that if the Browns can pull off a Quinn trade for the #10 overall pick, they'll use that spot for Jenkins.

If this gets done, San Francisco might have made the biggest improvement of the offseason. They need a guy like Quinn more than Cleveland does, and what a great contract exchange that would be for them.

Just to be clear it's not just Quinn for the 10th, there would be other picks involved as well.

Trade the whole draft (this year and next year) for Brady Quinn lol, Beanie Wells or Malcolm Jenkins. Man I could go for a cheesesteak right now

Why Brady Quinn when Boldin is available?

How is Evererette Brown not the consensus answer to this question? He is arguably the best DE in the draft AND is a pass-rushing DE.

This was too easy...

I think maybe because most project him as a 3-4?

Add in the fact he's a bit undersized to play strongside and the history of FSU pass rushers in the NFL and he's got lots of bust potential.

I'm not dead but this team is dead to me...but now that McCloughan is here they may have new life!

Jay Gruden = Zorny McSpurrier
Kirk Cousins = Next Grossman

Oh well, we need an OLB, too - don't we. He could go either way.

Watch a little video on the guy, he doesn't look to bust-worthy to me.

Definitely less risky than Orakpo or Maybin.
