Mitchell doesn't walk on egg shells for anybody unlike Larry Michael who is the ultimate company man. The skins could lose by 50 points and he'd try to put a positive spin on it.
Mitchell will always be a Redskin in my eyes.
Have to agree with you there. Mitchell was a real Skin til we ditiched his ass for Sanders, which is probably at the top of Snyder's dumbest moves. Still remembering Johnny Morton torching him in 2000 in the Silverdome. Biggest lame ass bitch of all time!!!!!!!

I never said he was a bum. I called him a jaded ex-girlfriend...Cause he NEVER has anything positive to say...EVER!!! I don't see Monk dissing the Skins, cause he has class. I don't hear Doug Williams dissing the Skins, cause he has class. I don;t even see Emmitt Smith dissing the Cowboys, cause he got over it! Brian Bicthcell (not a typo) never got over it...so he hates. That's why Portis ate his lunch on the radio! Why CP threatened to steal him! Cause he got tired of a career return man criticizing a franchise player...something B Bitch never was. He's a Skins hater, he's jaded and he's spreads nothing but negativity. But if you like that sort of thing...have at it!

You can actually see him smirking in pleasure after each one of our losses on the post-game show. How can you be a B&G fan and listen to that dude? He's an Eagle...cause he's always player "catcher" for Andy Reid.

I hate that guy and wish Snyder would fire him from 980!
I think he still holds a grudge against Synder for releasing him. But he doesn't candy coat it when the Redskins play like garbage or do some dump sh*t. I rather have a guy who played the game give me the 411 than some media spokesperson that has never played the game of football on any level. Im in the Los Angeles area and I watch Washington Post Live everyday and they have some anoying Redskins insiders ( JLF and Jason Ried). What the Heck do they know about Redskin football? Both these clowns are always negative when the Redskins make any moves. I can't believe our Front office would share any info with these to idiots.

Re: NEW!! Improved Front Office Strategy!

I was watching NFL Network and Solmon Wilcox gave the Draft Grades for the NFC East since 2004.
1. NY Giants: A Drafted 19 starting players.
2. Eagles : B Drafted 14 starting players.
3. Cowboys: A Drafted 17 starting players.
4. Redskins : D Drafted 9 starting players.

This is why we have know young talent at the O-Line or D-Line postions, cause we like to go after other teams veteran lineman. The Last 2 offensive line we drafted higher than the 3rd round since 2000 has to be Samuels and Jansen. Thats a D** Shame.

Anyone think we should be a more defensive mind team like Baltimore, Steelers, and Titans. If we focus mainly on our defense by strengthen our DE, and Linebackers this would give us a solid top 5 defense. Lets face it we have not had a scoring offense since maybe Nov Turner. This is just a thought guys because we just dont have enough picks to fill all the holes so lets just try to draft for our defense to keep us in games. Next year we draft strictly for the O-line. 1step and 1 year at a time. Lets be real its going to take some time to fix this mess.

Yes. But we can do a little of both if we trade down and pick up a 2nd round pick. Draft for need. Pick up a DE, a SLB, and a RT. After that, I'd look at OL's and DB's the rest of the way, hoping to get lucky with a late pick.

Hmm...does this include starters that we traded our draft picks for?
We need to compare apples to apples...many of these teams rarely leverage picks for guaranteed starters...of course we can argue if that is a good strategy or not...but I doubt this analysis is fully complete

You are correct about comparing apples to apples and taking into account starters acquired by trades. In Wilcots' defense, he was trying to isolate draft performance only.

What stood out to me was this: The Giants have been the most dominant team in the division over the last couple of years and 19 of 22 of their starters came through the draft. It seems like there is a lesson there.

Then again, the wheels came off of the Giants bus last year when they lost Burress, whom they had acquired through free agency.

Can't expect a good draft grade when you do not meet your team's critical needs. I still am pissed over what the '06? draft when we drafted 2 or 3 RBs when we already had Portis, Betts, the Rock, while we were, as always, hurting for linemen and DBs for depth. I know the draft rags are saying we are going to get a DE or DT, but I think we really need our top pick to be a T or G.

Well, then you're angry over nothing. We didn't draft any RBs in 2006. Actually, we haven't drafted a RB for quite some time. We drafted 2 fullbacks in 2005. Maybe that's what you're thinking of. It's been 7 years now since we drafted a tailback - Ladell Betts in '02.

I'd like to see us draft a RB this year. I've said it before - I think guys like Javon Ringer and Kory Sheets can turn into Leon Washington/Darren Sproles type players in NFL.

Solomon Wilcox is a Redskins Hater, he almost burst out in tears when he heard how much Haynesworth was getting. I listen to him on some things and he makes a lot of sense, but when it comes to The Redskins he's bitter anyway..so f#@$ Soli....

If I spent most of my playing career as a backup in Cincinnati, I'd be bitter, too.

Good move! Apparently, you have psyched them out by thinking OL this year. Now, we'll finally get that DE we need.

I think Tyson Jackson would be a great fit for us at LDE.

If Lawrence Sidbury can play SLB, then he'd be a heckuva pick in Round 3. He is a great athlete and football player.

Draft defense. If they can't score, then they can't beat us.
