Although I am 99% sure Jeremy Bridges will end up winning the RT spot..Are any of the FA's below a better option before the season starts?

Levi Jones (LT) - Talented, long-time starter for the Bengals, but has suffered through various injuries over the past few years which have limited his play.
Mark Tauscher (RT) - May not be ready to play until after the regular season starts.
Jon Runyan (RT) - He still wants to play one to two years and should be ready to go some time in July or so.
[Charles Spencer (LT/RT/G) - Very talented and versatile, but hasn't been the same after suffering a horrific leg/knee injury during his rookie season with the Texans.

A) why do you think bridges will win the spot, not heyer?
B) Levi jones is the only one I would sign on that list, runyan I would sign if our tackles got injured during the season
C) I would definitly bring in derrick brooks at least for a workout he is a great OLB which we desperatly need

Whether bridges starts I can't say...but if the roster stays as it is i bet he'll get significant playing time time this year. Heyer has suffered injury every year, missing time, and Williams is such a longshot. I'd sign Jones even if it took the rest of our cap room...OL is still such a glaring weakness IMO.

I hate to say this, but with Samuels locked in at LT, and a slew of suitors for RT (with Heyer at the front), I doubt Jones would want to come here. I would want him here, I don't know if he would come here as a backup, unless the team would guarantee him a starting spot.

I'm sure you're exactly right Ruh. LJ basically has no reason to play for the Skins. He's a legit starter when healthy and someone will need a starter as we get closer to opening day.

Hopefully we get some really nice surprises this year: Samuels and Thomas back healthy, Rinehart/Heyer/Bridges/Williams much improved.
