OK, some news...

Aug. 20, 2009 - 1:00 p.m. ET

Clinton Portis says Redskins rookie wideout Marko Mitchell is "killing" CB Carlos Rogers on the practice field.

"He can not stop him. He ain't stopped him yet this whole camp," said Portis. Rogers is one of the league's most underrated cover men. Mitchell is raw coming out of Nevada, but there is opportunity in D.C. behind Santana Moss.

So is this good news about Marko or bad news about Carlos?

MORE IMPORTANTLY: Has either of them actually caught a ball?

AND MOST IMPORTANT OF ALL: Do they dunk or twist their Oreos first?

Fudge covered oreos rule.

As for Mitchell, let's see what, if anything, he does in the next two preseason games (there are two more games before the first schedules cuts, right?)

I've never tried deep fried ones, but they're tempting.

I think Marko could beat out Hackett for the #5 spot, just because his potential is higher. Hackett has hit his ceiling and hurt injured himself in the process.

Um let's see. Both DT and MK have had strong camps. Campbell and Kelly are building a good rapport (sp?) on the field. Thomas probably has the edge right now to be the #2 WR spot, but it's still close. Kelly will probably serve in more of a cluch, over the middle, need that first down, role I suppose.
