GREAT POINT!!

Alot of guys really flursihed in the system this year. LaVar is supposed to be the most gifted athlete on the defense, so maybe he would cause alot of ruckus in the system. The only game you can really judge from is the TB game, which I belive he had a decent game. The games at the end of the year, he was at DE alot, a move I dont think will work out that great if perminant. I'm excited to see how he does next season.

Does anyone have a source that says Arrington was paid the roster bonus?

The WT today says he may drop his grievance, doesn't sound like he's received anything.

From the WT article where Lavar says he will probably drop the greivance:
Quote:
"The Pro Bowl linebacker cited as factors his inability to play much this season ("You figure it's a roster bonus [and] I wasn't really a part of the roster this year") and his love of the city ("The city means too much to me, being a Redskin means too much to me"). "
Yeah, he's just here for the paycheck and he's an overrated underperformer. C'mon guys.

I really like Lavar as a person, but I still stand firm on him being far overated.

The naysayers will say he's dropping it because he has little to no chance of actually winning the grievance. Maybe that is the case, or maybe he is genuine when he says he loves the team and the city. I really don't care what his reasoning is at this point, as long as he's healthy and ready to go next year.

My thought's exactly! I think Arrington will have a great year in 05'. :thumb: The guy was hurt all year so I can't understand how some folk's on this site can say he is overrated.
All I ask is remember who you are next year when Lavar is taking peoples heads off and is our D's MVP! All you Johnny come lately "Redskins Fans"! Lavar is a REDSKIN down to the bone! Where is the loyalty???

Definitely, I mean he wasn't quite 100% when he played in some games at the end of the season and definitely made some big hits.

HE will play through injury. His passion for the game is among the top in the league (not to mention his talent).
