If you think Fletcher didn't deserve to go, you're letting your emotions get the best of you.

Fletch is 2nd in the entire league in tackles and doesn't get in. Bullshit.

That's putting it nicely.

Re: Redskins in 2010 Pro Bowl

just to point out...

look at the offensive linemen and the teams they play for...

2 Saints OL
2 Vikings OL
2 Cowboys OL
1 Eagles OL
1 Giants OL

All of these teams have winning records... one one (G-Strings) not in the playoffs...

What can we deduce from this??

Surprising that Orakpo makes it as a rookie.

Haynesworth picks up $43M and no Pro Bowl in his first year with his new team. In the offseason Hayenesworth was considered the best player in the NFL and he doesn't get a selection to this popularity contest.

Not that I think he deserved it, it's just frustrating to see the front office bring in this one big fish when our depth was our biggest liability.

Worst move ever was letting the fans vote for the roster. Fans do not know if a guard or a DT is any good. They vote by flashy stats like sacks (Orakpo).
I liked it better when the players and coaches voted.
The players actually appreciated it more when they were selected by their peers.
This thing is a shame.

I have vastly more respect for London Fletcher than I do for the entire Pro Bowl institution.. honestly couldn't care less about a glorified popularity contest

Edit: Love how the Bengals win a tough AFC North division against the Ravens and the defending Super Bowl champs but apparently did so without a single Pro Bowl quality player on their entire team

Re: Redskins in 2010 Pro Bowl

I dont get why Fletch isnt making it.

People know he is legit, everytime we are on primetime, all announcers mentions he is a probowler who has been snubbed. People are aware, I guess he isnt the big name sexy pick.

Did Fletch get 1st Alternate at MLB at least? Because the chances of Vilma playing in it are kind of slim, since he could be playing late into the post season and has a better chance of getting hurt

Re: Redskins in 2010 Pro Bowl

Tackles are tackles, but at some point, someone has to have the balls to put Fletcher on top of their list of pro bowl MLBs.

Last year, when Beason made it over Fletcher, that was a crock. This year, Vilma was at least as deserving as Fletcher was, and while it would have been nice to see Fletch get in, I don't see them starting to give him that overdue respect now.

I think Fletcher will still end up playing though. Unless that schmuck Keith Brooking gets in because he plays for Dallas.

Re: Redskins in 2010 Pro Bowl

Title should read "Redskin", not "Redskins".

The ProBowl is really a sham, and this year, the players in the SB won't even play in it...

London Fletcher clearly should have been in, I feel bad for him.
