Just curious why you are keeping it, do you want him back. As for LT/CP. Lets just keep CP till we get the newest young buck. Not really into many trades of age for age. |

I personally browse the forums with avatars off, so I don't even see it on my end, I'm a bit lazy, and I like to save bandwidth.

Re: LT for Portis?
Portis for LT, no way. Nothing against CP and LT, but why trade age and mileage for age and mileage? LT has had a stellar career. But unfortunately "what you have done" is way different then "what can you do for the length of that new contract". Thats all that matters to GM's. LT was great, but will he still produce for 4 to 6 more years, which might be the length of a contract.
And I do not wish Brandon Marshall on anyone. He's got skills, but what a major league pain in the butt he is. Not worth the trouble as they are finding out in Denver. You can throw that old cliche "change of scenery" or "fresh new start" around all you want. But dip a turd in solid gold, and at the end of the day it is still a turd. |

Re: LT for Portis?
I'm actually kind of indifferent to chester taylor coming here... it'd be nice, but you know that shanny's gonna run a committee so it won't be a big impact or anything. Depends if we can get him cheap.

I highly doubt they would consider Portis though.

Yeah that would be a awesome trade for us, but not going to happen. I wonder if they will do cp for ac plus our 4th.

Something tells me they aren't interested in acquiring another over the hill back.

There have been reports that discussions along those lines are still going on between the front offices. |

I could see this being one of the more likely scenarios

Re: LT for Portis?
Yep. With Felix Jones in the forefront of Dallas's plans in the running game, there has been talk of Barber or Choice departing.
