This makes sense to me. If they do not aquire more draft picks, I don't see how they can commit another pick to QB.

What do we have now, 4 picks? At least 2 have to go to the line. At least and we probably need a corner, linebacker and safety as well...

I dissagree, we have 2 many other pressing needs and in the press conference shanny relates McNabb to Elway, and Steve Young. I think the line, WR, and the defense will be the priority now in Washington.

I have been a Colt fan since we got him. I believe he has great potential to be a great QB. I also believe he has more raw talent than Grossman BUT... Like BHA stated "Shanahan is going to want to draft his own project QB"

I for one would love to see Colt get a shot as a Skin. And hope he does beat Grossman for a place in the lineup.

I don't want either of these guys to see the field and hope they bring back JC as the #2. Chances are McNabb isn't going to make if for all 16 games and the back up may have to play a couple of games. Grossman is horrible and I can't believe they even signed him.

I would like that alot i think JC can learn alot from DM, but MS said in DM's news conference JC asked for permission to look for another starting job on another team and he was granted it. CB is young & he can learn alot from DM, 4 to 5 yrs as DM's backup & then he takes over that would be a good look for either JC or CB.

Sure, it's possible. He basically has to be the backup or be gone. I really don't think he'll be the #3 because I'm not convinced that Shanahan and son see him as the longterm QB they want to develop. Could be wrong though

You overestimate Brennan's abilities, which is probably a by-product of believing that the Zorn/Cerrato pairing made for good talent evaluations.

Truth be told NOONE knows how good CB is because he hasn't played in any serious games since college. He is young enough to still learn. Plus it may be cheaper to keep him and pay some other kid.

Gameplanning and de-prioritizing OLmen are different from talent-evaulating skill. Brennan's overhypedness is all because of his first preseason.

no way we waste a pick on a QB right now...way too many other important needs...CB probably stays on the Roster...but it's silly at thsi point to think he'll ever be a contributing factor to the redskins success.
