Re: I can't wait to hear the other side...
"People say we're leaving now because we're selfish, but how are you supposed to be happy as a receiver when you go from a passing offense to a running offense? This wasn't what I signed up for."
You're getting paid to be a professional football player you stupid selfish bastard ass f&^%ing son of a bitch! That's what you signed up for. You didn't sign up to be the only guy on the team. This whole story only reinforced my thought that we should have just sat his selfish f&*^ing ass and let him rot. He infects Gardner(which is normally bad thing but in Gardner's case we can thank him) enough to make him want out. He has the audacity to question a coach who has won three damn super bowls. How many super bowls has Coles won? Has he even won a playoff game. Get the f&*% out of Washington and hopefully you either A) have a nice little car accident on the way up to NY and your Career is over or B) (even better) next time the Jets play us Arrignton snaps your fibula on the first play of the game ending your caeer ala Theisman. This article pisses me off if you can't tell. I am honestly close to breaking something here. |

Re: I can't wait to hear the other side...
If we look back over post from the past season alot of what Coles said about or offence is the same things we were complaining about. Another thing is look how long our offence had to play with a inept quarter back who we all knew was just horrible but played nine games. I trust Gibbs can look back over last year and make the needed adjustments and I do not beleive it was as bad as Coles is making it out to be.

Re: I can't wait to hear the other side...
Coles is pouting because he wasn't being played downfield. I can deal with guys being upset that their not being used correctly to help the team. This comes off like he was upset that he wasn't being used correctly to make him look good and keep his stats up. I will not put up with that. I wish bad things for Mr. Coles. Bad things.

Re: I can't wait to hear the other side...
What Cole's said is exactly what we saw last season, basically the defenses new what was coming because it was the same old repetitive play's with no ability to deviate from what Gibb's would call a game plan, we all saw it, and screamed about it, but Cole's confirming it is even more troublesome because it was right in Gibb's face and he couldn't see it. I also don't have a prob. with Coles wanting out I know if I saw a coach who was just going through the motion's as far as play calling goes I would want out as well no sense in beating your head against a wall. The problem I have with Cole's is if that's truly his problem then don't hold up a deal when your wish is granted, that's where we part way's, I love Snyder's approach to Cole's good for him, I just wished he would have made good on that threat and teach the guy a lesson in negotiation's and finance.
I certainly hope Gibb's comes out of his shell this year, but I have a bad feeling that the game didn't just pass him buy, it blew by him. And if that's the case Coles is going to look like a genious in more way's than one. [unfortuantly] |

Jesus christ you guys turn into a pack of vicious dogs quick.
Let's count the number of wins last season. Coles 6, Gibbs 6. Games lost because of Coles? 0. Games lost because of Gibbs playcalling 5+. |

Re: I can't wait to hear the other side...
FRPLG - I don't think his "stats" bother him. He didn't go down field, he's a receiver, he likes to catch the ball. He likes to make the big play. Not for himself, but for the TEAM! Because he wants to be in an offense that gives him a shot at what he does best (stretch the field and get YAC) doesn't mean he's selfish.

Re: I can't wait to hear the other side...
There was only one person in all of football who had the ball thrown his way more than Coles last year, Chad Johnson (Cin). He was upset because his ypc was 10.6 the lowest of his career. Sounds pretty "selfish" to me. This is a classic case of jumping the gun. Instead of being patient and letting the system open up and/or letting the toe heal, he got hasty and wanted out. Maybe he was too busy stealing shoes with Peter Warrick to remember guys named Monk, Clark, Sanders, etc. who all stretched the field under this guy he doesn't "trust". What's worse is the front office let him out. They could have sat him and taken a $3.3 mil hit, but they chose to trade him and take a $9.3 mil hit. That's $6 mil that possible could have locked up Smoot or Pierce. Brilliant job, GM Snyder. Oh wait, we don't have a GM. We got $6 beers, though. Moron!

Ok, if your boss who does things the way you prefer QUITS and the new one does things differently, are you going to request a transfer? If so, will they give it to you if it costs the company 3 times your annual salary to do it? I don't think so. F*ck him and his one TD. |

Re: I can't wait to hear the other side...
Daseal...
He is getting PAID to play FOR the Redskins. He caught 90 balls. he played WITH Brunell so he knows how BAD he was. He also knows that Gibbs didn't think Ramsey was ready. A professional in that situation would say "Hey, we're going through a rough patch but we have HoF coach with 3 Superbowl rings who has proven in the past that he likes to go downfield. I have an injured toe keeping me from being explosive. I think maybe I'll listen to my coach and trust that he knows what he is doing for the long term success of this team". Did he do this? No he bitched and moaned behind the scenes and caused who knows what type of locker room issues and then blows our cap up without any remorse. He is a punk bitch period. I never post like this. That shows how strongly I feel about this. |
