Thats amazing. It really isn't that bad of a look. Though I still prefer our more modern traditional look, it still serves as a nice change of pace.

Nice! I like that look a lot. But, Allen said he had GOLD-GOLD pants, I saw a picture of them once...they were more like the Rams gold pants.

Crap, Brady just signed a deal thats expected to pay out $19 million per year. Thats Lebron James type money. I know we can afford it financially but my biggest concern is what happens when the salary cap comes back. Then again no way are we letting McNabb walk away.

Probably not, but that might not be our choice. Even if he does stay which I believe he will, McNabb is not Brady money.

No not all Skins, I agree. The man will get paid but not anything close to that contract. Maybe the same as far as length, but no where near that kind of cash.

If we come out rocking the burgundy tops and gold pants on Sunday night I will be extremely happy. I feel we've gotten away from that look for a while now and would love our uniforms to actually reflect what our official colors are.

If we were going to have any uniform changes wouldn't they have been made known by now?

They have been hinting at it, but have remained tight lipped at the same time. No one has outright said that they are not changing the uniforms this season.

Re: Bruce Allen on McNabb extension, Haynesworth and uniforms

I thought teams had to register the uniforms they were going to use in any particular season with the NFL at the start of the NFL business year. As I recall, teams need to register a color/white scheme and can have one (or two?) "Special" jerseys. Again, to the best my recollection, 24 hours prior to a game, the home team has to choose color or white. "Special" jersey games have to be designated before the season begins. The uniform police go to each game to make sure the players conform to the teams registered unis.

It makes sense, you don't want teams radically altering their appearance from week to week.

Exactly which is why I thought we would have an official statement by now. I know we have declared burgundy tops for all the home games... oh well
