LOL is Larry Michael really in charge of the band?!! As friendly as Larry seems on tv/radio, I wonder what he's like when the cameras and microphones aren't around. He just seems like a shill and the kind of guy who would do anything to keep his job (hey, it's a great job!).

As for Zack Bolno, I've never heard of him, but I feel bad for him. Danny Snyder treats his employees like he's the head of Omni Consumer Products.

Re: Zack Bolno "abruptly" leaves

I'm not sure what led to his firing but by all accounts he is one of the best PR people in the biz judging from how many shoutouts he got on Twitter after being fired. I'd be wrong if I said people didn't enjoy working with him. From my limited understanding it sounds like PR people don't last very long with one company, although I don't understand what led to his firing. Just look at this post Steinberg put up about how many tweets he got. By all accounts everybody liked him and says he's one of the best PR guys out there.

During the Haynesworth "interview" last night, a PR guy had to step in and shut down the interview. Maybe it was Zack Bolno.......

Wow, that is pretty cold to fire the guy just for shutting down a dicey interview. Maybe some nasty words were exchanged between AH and the PR guy or the PR guy and the press.

I doubt that was all. It might be as simple as Shanny/Allen wanting to bring in their own PR guy. Maybe last night did have something to do with it but I doubt it was a knee-jerk reaction.

Why would you fire a guy on a Sunday after a preseason game, and one of the best PR guys around? These guys need to be a bit more savvy and do things in a way that doesn't generate media or fan questioning. Only leads to speculation and drama. You want to fire a guy, you usually do it Monday morning or Friday after work. I bet words were exchanged last night.

I don't know, but I'm not going to speculate that it was because somebody let Albert run loose to the press and start mouthing off again. It was probably a cumulation of things, and maybe the final straw was what happened last night. I highly doubt everything was fine and dandy Saturday morning with him, and then Snyder/Allen/Shanny saw Haynesworth mouth off to the media, and then one of them said, damnit, we need to do something drastic here, Zack, you've done a great job so far, but you're fired. Either he had worn out his welcome and last night was the final straw, or there was something going on behind the scenes that we had no clue about.

He also said they have new uniforms for this upcoming season (band that is). Believe he said the front will have a strap that says Washington, but I could be getting that mixed up with the Nationals, it might say Redskins, but it'll be one or the other and it will go from the shoulder to waist, the back will have the Redskins logo - and next year all the audio equipment will be updated at FedexField.

He did note nobody was suppose to know about this, but he told us.

Guess we won't be going back to D.C for awhile, don't see Snyder spending all that money to just leave in a couple seasons.

It's reported that it had nothing to do with AH but who knows.

As far as I know, there was nothing sinister about it. And Saturday's dismissal didn't really come as a shock to anyone, as in it was in the works for a while. Unfortunately, with regime change sometimes good people are sent packing, and that's what seems to be the case here.

Never dealt with Zack but I've heard many a good thing about him; that said I've heard nothing but great things about his boss Tony Wyllie. Wyllie is one of the best PR men in sports, I'm not worried at all about our public relations with Wyllie in charge

I can go with that, it is believable, and most likely the truth. They should have waited though as to not give off any hint of it being "sinister". Look at all the speculating we are doing, and I bet the media is trying to dig into it as well. The AH saga is too much as it is.

Assuming I am following the real Daniels (the account isn't verified) he even said the same thing.
