like i said before i want the cowboys to lose. 1-5 would be pretty much end of the season for them, it could really start a chain reaction for them in terms of team implosion, maybe firings, etc. yes it would suck to have the giants up a game on us, but we still get them 2 times and id rather have the cowboys completely out of the picture. plus i effing hate the cowboys.

i dunno. im a redskins fan first, and whilst (yes i said whilst) that would help the redskins cause, i think it also helps the redskins cause to put the final nail in the coffin of the cowboys season.

I am with you there. THe Giants are are good team, and the probable division winners, but to see Dallas take a big dive would be so priceless after all that preseason SB hype. It would be almost as beautiful as seeing all those smug elitist Univ of Mich fans after Appy State cleaned their clock!!!!

I am rooting for the giants to win. I want any chance dallas may have to be snuffed out. Heck I would be good if their talented team went 1-15. In fact that would be awesome!

Re: NFL Regular Season Thread (Week 7)

I dont want to root for the boys and thus why i said giants to lose.... Anyway I just care about how we look. As long as we are at the top and looking down at the rest of the division is all I care about.

Man it has been a long time since I actually felt we had a real chance to win our division.

Re: NFL Regular Season Thread (Week 7)

You know, either way an NFC East team will lose tomorrow. Both have their plusses and minuses.

If the Giants win...
The Cowboys will be 1-5, and that much closer to being doomed for the rest of the season
But the Giants will also be 5-2 and in sole possession of first place in the NFC East.

If the Cowboys win...
The Giants will be 4-3, and tied for first in the East with us and Philly.
And the Cowboys will be 2-4 and it might be the catalyst needed to turn their entire season around. Or they could be like us in '04 and just continue to suck for the rest of the season.

Like I said both have their plusses and minuses.

Re: NFL Regular Season Thread (Week 7)

the more i think about it, the more i want the giants to win.

we can take care of our OWN business. cowboys at 1-5 have a hell of a hole to climb out of to even think about the playoffs.

Remember the giants went 6-0 last year and collapsed. I know that was last year but the point is let the season play out. This game the giants can put a nail in the cowboys coffin. As for the Giants leading the division, there are 9 more games where the Giants will win some and lose some, including 2 against us.

Re: NFL Regular Season Thread (Week 7)

I would prefer Wade to stay. I feel comfortable that they won't ever do anything with him at the helm.

Speaking of Minny-GB, what a nice play that was on 4th down. If Quarless catches that ball it's 1st and goal for the Pack. I'm rooting for the Pack tonight, they need justice against Favre and everybody picked Favre and the Vikings over the Packers tonight.

Re: NFL Regular Season Thread (Week 7)

Yeah i hear ya... whatever. Just a question. I really dont care to much who wins and loses this early. The Cowboys at 1-5 has a really nice ring to it though. That works for me. The Giants, Redskins, and Philly at 4-3 isn't bad either as we hold the tie breakers. I know it is early but it is nice to have a good shot at this "deal".
