Let me suggest - ever so gently of course - that the appearance of a thread on a Redskins' website announcing and praising and glorying in the resigning of a never-used running back who is also a good-but-not-outstanding kick coverage team member MIGHT be considered overhyping.
Rock Cartwright will not embarrass the Redskins if they keep him on special teams; he hustles and works hard. By the same token, if the Redskins make the playoffs and win a game in the playoffs this year, it will not be on the basis of a season-long monumental effort on Cartwright's part. His signing may make some folks here feel good but it is inconsequential.
