Aside from any lost revenue as a result of this protracted lockout, these are the guys who will suffer the most where the game itself is concerned. With limited time to impress the coaches and comprehend a complicated system true talents in some cases will not have enough time to be put on display.

I would add to this that the quality of football is going to suffer as well, especially with teams that will have new coaches and a significant amount of new players (rookies, FA, etc., etc.).

yeah, the "insider" is pretty pathetic these days. Sad thing is, it's a blog, state some opinions, its not reporting. There's no analysis or opinion & very limited info.

I don't blame the post entirely, I think the skins front office has done a great job of shutting down the 'sources' inside redskins park & they are not leaking anything. Allen & Danny must've made it very clear that they won't tolerate unofficial contact w/media. Love or hate him, JLC used to get a lot of info.

lol as a fellow cynic I like your thinking. But I think the purpose of this article isn't to say that they could succeed or not, but rather to highlight their strengths and weaknesses by saying what will propel them forward or what will hold them back.

It's going to be an insane couple of weeks once this deal gets done.

I'm sure every team has a plan and is ready to dive in head first. There's probably going to be a lot of 16 hour days going on around the league to get free agents, drafted, & undrafted rookies signed.

ONCE the deal is struck, it should be a F...n blast to watch all the action prior to camp. Can't wait for the FA surge.
