Re: Randy Moss to Retire

Man, I guess it is impossible for people NOT to bash on some people at all.. Randy Moss may be an asshole sometimes, but that is not the reason why we learned anything about him. We knew him only because he played NFL, and that should be the way he is remembered. Ever since I fell in love with football, Moss was one of my favorite players. He made countless highlights with his catches. I definitely will miss watching him playing.

I wish him the best in life after NFL career.

On the field the guy was a treat to watch. I don't know him personally so I can't judge him personally. Kids across the nation will continue to be "Mossed" first ballot HOFer right here.

On a side note the guy is still a pro-bowl caliber receiver (if motivated). He's still in great shape and can start for any team right now. I don't think he's done yet, but who knows.

Re: Randy Moss to Retire

Randy Moss was a baller from the moment he stepped on an NFL field up until this past season. I definitely don't have the hate for him that some here do. He is similar to Albert Haynesworth in that when he's properly motivated, he's one of the best in the game. It's obvious that will rub some of us the wrong way, but oh well. That's the nature of admitting you only play hard when you want to. That might one of the reasons he won't get into the HOF at first, because his detractors will have a big argument that he didn't play 100% all the time. That's an argument for another day though. His beastly moments easily outranked the times where he didn't play hard, Oakland for instance.

Re: Randy Moss to Retire

I guess what I am tired of hearing people say is what he could have done if he was not such a selfish sh-t. Its all bout the money now not the respect for the game or just having the gift to play it. If TO and Moss could have shut their mouth and just played ball the way we know they can, they would have been two of the best WR's ever to play the game , but their attitudes and BS clouded their ability to play ball and become respected, tired of hating the person, but loving watching them play. See Jerry Rice.

Moss has played 13 seasons? Man I feel old!!!!!!! He personifies the "it's all about the benjamins" attitude that pervades pro sports. I think after Tom and Peyton retire or just fade away football is really going to suck like today's music does. Nobody cares about winning titles, just easy paychecks.

You're right. Because Roethlisberger, Brees, and Rodgers aren't winners at all. And I'm sure Sam Bradford has no desire to win anything, nor does Matt Ryan, Matthew Stafford, or Josh Freeman. What a buncha losers.

Back in my day we used to care!!!!11!!!1 We used to headbutt brick walls when we scored touchdowns, and we used to walk 3 miles in blizzards with no shoes on just to get to the game!!!1!! Nowadays these punk kids ride chariots that seat 50ish people in pure luxury on them to the games! It's unfair I tell ya!
