Re: Winslow
Winslow will go down as big a failure as his father was great. I would not take this guy if you paid me. He is a cancer and his attitude is horrible. Any potential he may have had is on some curb in Cleveland right now. This guy is done.

See I was thinking of it the other way. Winslow is that really hot girl who's a bitch AND really dumb. And it's a lot of fun to walk around and have people look at you with the hot chick, and see the looks of envy on their faces, but you just can't stand her. I prefer Cooley and Royal, who are the kinda cute chick with the awesome personality. [Oh and the 2nd chick (Cooley) is good in the sack, while the 1st one (Winslow) has STDs.] |

Re: Winslow
I too, think he is done. If someone would prove otherwise, maybe through a rookie-like workout and see how his speed/cuts are, I think I'd consider him. I think he's been handed a HUGE slice of humble pie. Sometimes that is just enough.

Re: Winslow
Never, and just imagine if he did do good for us.... you guys dont think the attitude would come right back? think people
he will be all quiet and ready to play...then when he has a half ass season, he will think he needs another major contract again. we dont need the headache |

Re: Winslow
At least the pain in the ass "U" guy that we drafted last year actually performs on the field....during the season that is.....

Re: Winslow
For me, any potential upside is outweighed by having an attitude like that on my team. I just can't bring myself to cheer for a guy like that.....no matter what uniform he's wearing. I'd rather lose without him than win with him. I know not everybody agrees with that, but that's my stance. I wouldn't want him for anything.......regardless of talent, agent, contract......just doesn't matter to me.
Best way for me to sum it up: Winslow as a Skin = me :vomit-smi

Re: Winslow
it would cost the browns way too much to release him before next year. my guess is that they give him one more season to prove his worth before cutting their losses.
my guess is also that if he finally has a solid year he starts whining about how much money he lost and how he NEEDS a new contract. i would say that the browns are snakebit, but when you draft high maintenence jerks represented by even bigger jerks the outcome should not surprise anyone. contrast that with the skins 2 high character first round picks this year. i do not think you could find 2 more respectfull and quietly confident players than rogers and campbell. |

Re: Winslow
if he does get released i think a lot of teams would consider not signing him because his agent's suck. nobody likes to deal with the postons. but if he was willing to sign for like the bare minimum, then i would sign him. until then, bad move.
