Shanny for calling that timeout right as they were about to get a delay of game penalty when going for the FG in overtime. And extra 5 yards and I don't think that kick makes it.

I know he was trying to ice the kicker, but there was almost no time on the playclock and Romo was out of position because he was trying to call timeout even though they didn't have any left. Just a complete bonehead move in my opinion and I'd love to hear him try to explain it, except I'm not going to waste my time watching his presser.

I'm not sure Shanahan could see from where he was standing necessarily that Romo was about to do a Chris Webber. All that stuff is premeditated anyway. "Hey ref, watch me and wait until there's one second left then I'm going to call time out" In that scenario, Shanahan isn't really paying attention to the field. More so the clock.

On that kick though, quite a few people in the stadium (Redskins fans and otherwise) think he may have actually missed. I'd have to see the replay

at first look I thought so too, but I think the replay was pretty clear he made it

If D Hall never plays another down for us, I'll be happy. He sucks.

3rd down defense for it's constant failures to get off the field.

Yeah i saw that romo was trying to call a time out when they had none, i dont understand shanahan's reasoning for calling the TO. would that have been a 15yrd penalty? if not a 5 yd cuz the play clock might have run out or even if they got it off, might have made the kicker push it by rushing the kick..

Brian Orakpo. When he wasn't being outright stuffed by Doug Free, he was allowing Tony Romo to scramble to the left, and then we get burned by sandlot football with Romo and friends.

Gano - **** you. My Suisham sense is tingling. Cut his ass. Cut him now. Choking against the Dallas Cowboys is a crime. A ****ING CRIME. Real Redskins do not choke against the Dallas Cowboys.

Calm down a moment here...

According to you, there were no "real Redskins" in the game where Clint Longley had his 15 minutes of fame in the NFL. Remember, the other guys are getting paid too.

The real disturbing thing about Gano is that he has missed more field goals than any other kicker in the NFL so far this year. THAT is bad. Missing two 50-yard tries on a field that is not in good condition is not a felony.

Then his film study should be called into question. Romo spins out of pressure to his left at least 3 times per game to extend the play. He has done it with success over the past month.

If film study had been better, maybe that gets mitigated.

Re: Smmot Lays the Smack Down (Cowboys at Redskins)

Great game. we played a good dallas team very competative all day. I have said all along that Rex should have never been benched. The team as a whole plays better. Passing game is more north south, defense seems to play more inspired.

DeAngelo Hall absolutely f'n kills me. Two big 3rd down plays (3rd and long) he is playing 15 yards off the receiver and its basic pitch and catch. I can give a shit if he slipped. He plays up on Bryant, chucks him at the line, timing is off and play is incomplete. I am sick of watching him give up big 3rd down conversions this year. He runs his damn mouth all game and does nothing, and can't tackle for shit.

Where was Helu?? Ran the ball very effective when he was in, and he is a beast out of the backfield. Can't understand why he isn't in the game as the primary back.

The biggest issue of the day, the biggest issue of the year last year, GRAM F"N GANO.... How is this guy still employed?? He is the worst kicker in the NFL. No one has missed more field goals this year than him, and no one has missed more FG over the last two years than him. When can we get a damn kicker that can atleast make a 40 yard field goal?? I dont care about how young he is, how strong his leg is, he has cost us numerous games over the last two years by missed extra points, missed field goals....it is ridiculous. He needs to go.

Hall is what he is. Right? We've seen this from him since he's been here. He never plays bump and run. Always give a big cusion. He does that cause he can't cover.

I agree. They just need to stick Helu in there and quit all this nonsense with rotating backs.
