^ indeed.

Edit: when we were playing against NE and Gro was tearing up our defense, I thought to myself, it would not be possible if Sean was still here. I cannot help but think of Sean from time to time. I am amazed by the fact that I never had met Sean and yet he made such impact on me and everybody else.

I know the main charge to these alleged criminals and murders is murder which has no statute of limitations. But some of the lesser charges like robbery has a limit. Below is the state of Florida Statute of limitations:

Offense Designation Time Limitation
3rd Degree Felony 3 years
2nd Degree Felony 3 years
1st Degree Felony 4 years
Life Felony None
Capital Felony None

i am by no means a lawyer, but i have seen almost every episode of law and order. i'm pretty sure the statute of limitations applies to charges being filed, not the length of the trail. so these guys have all been charged and i would think the statute of limitations would not apply.

That's for being charged, not being tried. They were charged LOOOONG ago so the stuff you've posted is moot.

Re: First trial in Sean Taylor killing to begin April 16

My first post WP.

Sean Taylor forever!!!!!!

I would like to see justice for the Taylor/Redskin families but idk how there can be. IMO, no sentences for the ones on trial could repay/replace what the world lost. But the way I see it is, if a Miami hero is killed in Miami and those guilty are sentenced to a Miami prison, well,.... I'll be sure to get the mailing address and send some pink laced panties addressed to those found guilty- No lube. (I apologize for enabling/encouraging forced male orgies(hopefully)).

I hope they bring the hammer down on them. Every time I saw one of our various free safeties (Atogwe, Moore, Doughty, or Landry back when he played fs) miss a play over the past 4 years, I think of ST.

You can't get the death penalty unless it was a planned murder. This wasn't a planned murder, Sean wasn't even supposed to be home that night so the death penalty is out of the question. I believe in a life for a life though. These sacks of shit aren't going to be worth a damn to society any longer and we really could use the extra space.

I believe you're right about needing premeditation. But if I were a judge (horror), I would say: They did plan to break and enter and trespass, and did so. They did plan to bring a gun, and they murdered a man with said gun (as charged, innocent till actually guilty) that would be enough premeditation for me to seek the death penalty.

At the moment, the DA is pressing for a conviction...

Juries are unpredictable but here is a judicial certainty:

If this guy on trial is found not guilty, he will not get the death penalty.

First things first...
