I'm pretty sure the Skins have contingency plans. Jackson wasn't particularly a stellar player and we knew he enjoyed recreating more than playing football. I would cut him and move on.

What a dingleberry. All he had to do was stay out of trouble and he'd have been fine. Instead he's now suspended indefinitely.

Told by an NFL spokesman that Tanard Jackson's appeal process has already played out. Suspensions aren't announced before appeal is done. Retweeted by Rich Campbell Looks like they had to have known for a while now, or so it seems.

Update: 10:56: Rookie safety Jordan Bernstine has been told that he will be on the Redskins’ season-opening roster, according to a person familiar with the situation. Bernstine was a seventh-round draft pick out of Iowa.
