Re: Around the NFL Week 1

When it comes to the Bears, I just don't trust Cutler. He doesn't seem to me to be the guy who is going to come through in the clutch. They have a good team around him, their D is solid and they finally have a couple WR's who make people back away from the line. Even so, however, I just don't think they have the "it" to make it that final level.

Atlanta. I am with you on this one GTripp. Matty Ice is going to pull them through.

Me three on Atlanta. The Falcs are going to have a good year, barring catastrophic injuries.

Seems as though we didn't really miss him to much as Gomes had a decent game. Didn't get to watch it but from the stat lines and the write ups I think we are good.

Losing Brent Grimes for the year won't help the Falcons

Re: Around the NFL Week 1

NFL Referette broke up up a fake post-game fight between former teammates Finnegan and Tulloch.

Funny photo. You'd think the fact they're laughing would give it away that they're just goofing off.

What is with the MNF broadcast? It has an arena league feel to it.

Re: Around the NFL Week 1

Marvin Lewis with a huge set of balls going for it on 4th and 1 in the red zone. It worked. Ended with a TD.

Re: Around the NFL Week 1

Ed Reed is hands down the best safety to have ever play the game. It's not even close.

The Bengals aren't quite ready for prime time. Ravens taking them behind the woodshed.

Flacco and Matty Ice look like they've moved to that next level of QB. Flacco impressive tonight.
