I may have missed it in this thread, but wondering about the call against Tampa Bay to end the game verses New Orleans. Was the call correct? I was confused, and they didn't explain it very well on TV. I understand what they called, just wondered what the rulebook says?
Confused the heck out of me. Not as bad as Jim Nantz making me think my J-E-T-S Jets, Jets, Jets had won though

**** this jackass. I'm SOOOOO glad this idiot is on the Panthers and not here. I'm sad to see the Panthers have to deal with this scrub.

That said, Hurney needed to be fired the moment he resigned Jake Delhomme to a huge contract after throwing a 5-6 INT game in the playoffs. He's now signed Williams, Stewart, and Johnson to huge contracts and they haven't done diddly squat. Moronic GM moves to say the least.
I didn't see that last part of the interview. And then he called the reporter, "sweetheart?" Ugh. I would've jumped the table. Okay not really but, if I don't know you, I'm miss. I'm not your sweetheart.

/rant over.

No big deal calling the reporter "sweetheart"...it's after a game, he's pissed that they lost, I give him a pass on that. But his tone is just awful. Cam comes across as a front runner. Everything great when they're winning, but when the chips are down I'm not sure I'd want him leading my team.

He needs to grow up, but he is still doing better than Andrew "Bad" Luck.

Just what we need, to replace the OC that's leading the 3rd ranked offense. Just brilliant.

There were a lot more than 3 blown plays, where the defense knew what Kyle called before he did lol. Our redzone production was pretty pedestrian yesterday as well...too many FGs instead of TDs.

I don't understand how the same people can talk about RG3 as a phenom, talk about our stellar ground game, talk about how good our WR corp looks, but not question why the defense blows us up over and over again or why we can't get in the endzone when it matters?

Who talks about our good WR corps? They're average at best (at least until Garcon gets healthy).

I know I talked about our lack of production in the red zone yesterday. But we've been pretty solid up until yesterday (3 TDs last week)

Correct me if I am wrong, but before yesterday we were 13 of 14 TD's with goal to go. Now we are 13 of 16. I understand that they hurt yesterday, but offense other than turnovers was not the problem vice versa Defense, other than TO's was the problem. Odd how that works.

We have the 3rd highest total points in the league, and the 5th highest per game offensive yardage. Points per play, we are 2nd and the Giants are 3rd. But more than just statistically speaking, I would say the offense passes the eye test. When you watch them, other than a blown call occasionally this offense looks like it can move the ball when they need to. I agree with SS that sometimes KS looks to get overly cute, and those plays don't tend to work, but overall, he has taken a star player, and put him in an offense that exploits his talents. And we get to see that every week.

Right

Also just what we need is Smoot doing his cryptic insider thing. LOL. Our offensive scheme is not in any way the problem nor has it really been. Now is not the time to mess with it.

It will be up to Kyle if he leaves. Let's just say there's an opportunity out there that he probably won't pass up.
