FB-T.J.Duckett
LT-Andre Johnson
LG-Shar Pourdanesh(moved from tackle)
C-Chad Rinehart(tried C with us and Bills)
RG-Jason Fabini
RT-Tyler Polumbus
TE-Christian Fauria
WR X-Brandon Lloyd
WR Z-Micheal Westbrook
3rd WR-Devin Thomas

RDE-Jason Taylor
RDT-Dana Stubblefield
LDT-Albert Haynesworth
LDE-Kenard Lang
RLB-Antonio Pierce
MLB-Jermiah Trotter
LLB-Lavar Arrington
RCB-Carlos Rogers
FS-Mark Carrier
SS-Adam Archuletta
LCB-Dionne Sanders

All coached by Steve Spurrier and Greg Blanche, of course.

Would love to see my team of favorite players wipe the floor with these bums.

Pierce partly because he trashed the organization after the Giants just outbid us. (We should have outbid the giants, but that's another issue). And partly just because he was a another chippy Giants player.

Lavar seemed happy going to Pro Bowls while the team stunk. But when Gibbs and Williams started coaching against freelancing and preferential treatment on the sidelines, suddenly Arrington wasn't happy. And our defense was better without him.

Add Lavar's trash-talking the coaches right before the playoffs in '05, and calling Gibbs a coward for leaving the team himself in '07 (in circumstances a lot different than L. "playbook" Arrington did)......

Actually in retrospect not bidding for Pierce worked out perfectly. Fletcher is still playing at a high level and Pierce is working in the studio despite being 3 years younger.

Re: Least Favorite Player at Each Position During Snyder Era

I dislike players where we drafted them too high, traded away too much, or killed our cap by paying them too much. That's not to say I didn't root for them to pan out. A few at the top of my list:

1. Albert Haynesworth - probably everyone's #1.
1a. Adam Archuleta - gave this bum the biggest Safety contract at the time and allowed Ryan Clark to walk for relative peanuts.
2. Heath Shuler - Top 5 picks that bust are franchise killers.
3. Desmond Howard - See Heath Shuler
4. Jason Taylor - wish we had that 2nd round pick back
5. Donovan McNabb - ditto
6. Brandon Lloyd - blame the FO for tearing up the final year of his contract and handing him millions. Never scored a regular season TD in burgundy and gold.
7. T.J. Duckett - Question to the FO - WHY?
8. Danny Weurfel - Didn't give up anything to get him, but he was still Spurrier's boy wonder.
9. Speaking of Spurrier - If I could put a coach on my least favorites list, it would be him. He took Snyder's millions, yet his heart was never all in.
10. Dana Stubblefield
11. Meion

By my own criteria, how could I have forgotten Devin Thomas and Malcolm Kelly? Complete busts from the terrible 2008 draft that set this franchise back a few years. Yep, add them to my list.

Brandon Banks

And I think I might have Westbrook on both my favorite and least favorite lists

Thread title should be changed to "How do you spell Deion?".

I've always hated the superstar players way past their prime.

Brandon Banks. If youre going to devote a roster spot to a return specialist, he atleast needs to be good. Banks has zero value on offense and negligbile value on special teams. every year i hope its the year the coaches finally decide hes not worth keeping... and ever year thecoaches keep him anyway. why?

Well, I mean what else could we use that roster spot for? If you're not going to provide a solution you can't point out the problem

any player on any NFL practice squad at any position. Seriously. Banks is a one trick pony thats not even good at his one trick. I would rather develop any player at any position that has multiple ways to contribute to the team than waste a roster spot on Banks.

The additional problem with banks is that, if you have him on the 53 as a returns specialist, you also have to have him on the gameday 46. So where as most teams have 46 "useful" players on their roster on gameday, we only have 45. if we used Banks rosterspot on someone who could also play DB/LB/DL/OL/TE/RB/WR, we'd have a player who could step in if one of our primary guys were injured. With Banks, youre not going to put him in on offense if Moss gets hurt. Instead, you'll play an extra TE. Banks is completely useless in every way possible.

I would say about Jeff George though, that I didn't ever really feel he was a bad person in my interactions with him. He was quiet and a bit of a loner, but not an a-hole by any means.
