Re: Around the NFL...Week XIV Mode

Lit it up?

Mark Sanchez Stats - New York Jets - ESPN

I think it comes down to him just not being starter material in this league. At least not the kind of starter that can put the team on his back. He needs a strong running game and defense.

This is where the Jets GM f'ed things up royally. They let some talent go without getting good players in return. Sanchez is at best a game manager and I don't think the Jets GM realized that.

Yup. Which, unless you truly think you have been falsely accused and will be acquitted, seems the smarter move.

Cam Newton’s attitude didn’t win him any friends at the Pro Bowl | Shutdown Corner - Yahoo! Sports

Not surprised one bit about this. Cam "douchebag" Newton you say? Sounds about right. Panthers would be better off with Von Miller.

I sincerely doubt that.

You'll see. I still think in the long run that Cam Newton will flame out. I still do not think he has the mental capacity to run/execute a offense with consistency in this league, nor do I think he has the characteristics to lead the team. (as noted by events this season)

Re: Around the NFL...Week XIV Mode

This is sad, but it's not the first time I've heard Kosar sound "off" in recent years. I don't know if he's necessarily drunk in this clip though

http://yourlisten.com/channel/content/16931809/Bernie

Bernie Kosar was one of my favorite QBs when I was a kid (I played in a flag football league when I was 10-11 and split as the starting QB and would throw side arm like he used to)
